(Trigger Warning~ Descriptions of gore towards the end. )

"Roman?" Virgil whispered softly as he trailed his fingers through his love's hair. After everything that happened, Roman was just so out of it, they literally spend days in bed. Roman had gotten himself sick at one point because of his emotions and that meant he had to stay even longer in bed, not that either cared. Virgil took to caring for his boyfriend without a single complaint or hesitation. Right now they were laying in bed. The sun just crept into through the window, and with the alarm off for some time now, it was up to Virgil to try and wake Roman up. Not that the alarm did much, to begin with. "Roman, dear..."

"Hun, it's time to get up." Virgil brushed the other's hair back softly as he frowned in concern. This was how it always was... those few times it was very far in-between. Roman laid there on his side, face flush from crying all night, curled up into a ball as Virgil held him close against his chest protectively. "Roman... Sweetheart, you have to wake up. You need to eat something or you might stay sick." Virgil's eyes narrowed as he spoke a bit louder not wanting to scare the man but knowing a whisper wasn't going to wake him up. "Roman? Hun, please?" He nudged him lightly noticing how Roman fussed a bit. Roman uncurled himself and pressed himself flush against Virgil's chest to the point where he could definitely feel his heartbeat. "Roman?"

"Dear..." Roman groaned softly as he cuddled as close as he could clutching Virgil tight with a soft smile on his face as he slowly relaxed back into the sheets. "Roman, no. You have to get up."

"Roman!" Virgil gave up and yelled thinking he could at least apologize to him if he scared him too bad but Roman didn't react. He simply smiled, mouth parting slightly, as Virgil frowned feeling his anxiety begin to bubble up. Virgil sighed as he realized he was just going to have to get up and get things going. He figured like most morning he was just going to have to let Roman wake up on his own. However, as soon as Virgil began to move Roman held him tighter mumbling out a VERY slurred no in his sleep making Virgil freeze up. "Roman, I have to get up. If you won't at least let me." Again no response and Virgil was starting to get really concerned. "I'm sorry, Love, but I have too." So he tore himself out from Roman grip only to freeze as Roman jumped up in a panic, eyes wide and dazed.

"Roman?" Roman frowned, his eyes narrowed in confusion as Virgil gently held his hands up to try and calm him. "Roman, It's ok. It's was just me. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you."

"I can't... I... Hold on." Roman squeezed his eyes shut as he forced himself to take a few breaths calming himself down as Virgil gently took his hand. When he opened them again he could see the concern in his love and he smiled sadly. "I'm sorry. What were you saying?"

"I said it's ok. I said I didn't mean to scare you."

"Oh." Roman chuckled as he awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. "Right. I'm sorry again. My head was too dazed. I couldn't focus... I couldn't hear you."

"That's ok." Virgil smiled reassuringly as squeezed Roman's hand a bit. "I didn't mean to make you jump so bad."

"I'm a pretty light sleeper so... It's ok though. I know you didn't mean it." Virgil frowned suddenly as Roman stretched.

"Light sleeper?" Roman nodded Virgil just shook his head. "Roman I spend the better part of 10 minutes trying to wake you up. The only time you actually responded was when I moved." Virgil noticed right away how Roman paled and started to choke on nothing.

"Uh. Right. What I mean is... It uh..."

"Hey no. Don't work yourself up. You're still sick. As long as your ok, I don't care." Roman sighed in relief as Virgil pushed himself the rest of the way out of bed. "Do you think you'll be able to eat breakfast downstairs or..."

"Yeah. Just let me get dressed."

"Are you serious right now?" Janus slapped the back of Remus's head playfully as Remus just hissed. "You can't just stand in front of an armored car and expect it not to run you over."

"Fine! You can take point." Remus whined as he shifted back and forth on his feet. "Just as long as we get him out of there."

"I still can't believe you want to help Headhunter escape, Babe." Janus frowned as Remus's eyes went dark. "It would be better if he rotted in prison. Maybe the heroes were right with this one."

"Janus, He's my father." The way the villain's eyes shot wide at the tone Remus had was intense. "He's my no good rotten dick prick of a mental institution in a meat sack of zombie food rejected shit... of a father. I don't want to break him out because 'He's the greatest villain and I want him to like me uwu'. No... I want to see what his entrails look like after I've strung them up and used them as wires to an electrical box. I want to see his brains splattered at the end of my 12-inch steel heel boots. I want to see his eyes dissolve in a vat of acid... I want to see his dick get stretched and turned into a fucking balloon animal."

"Remus..."

"He hurt my brother, Janus." Janus's face fell into a look of seriousness. You wouldn't notice with how good he was at hiding it but there was the rage in his eyes. Those two didn't have very many people they would protect. But if anything happened to each other, Roman, or Chrissy the entire world would blow up to avenge them. "He hurt Roman. Traumatized him. You know how long Roman went unable to even look at his violin after that shit happened. Anytime he looked at anything remotely involving music he would break down in tears. He got so withdrawn he wouldn't even talk to me. HE COULDN'T TALKE TO ME! He went fucking mute because he couldn't even... He... and it was HIS fault that happened to Roman. He caused it and sent Roman to the fucking hospital. I don't want him free Janus... I want him dead."

"Just stay here then Ray." Janus smirked evilly as he pulled his mask down. He stood himself up and started for the road knowing full well the armored car carrying Headhunter was about to pass. "I'll make it so you have the chance." The car turned onto the street just as Janus let his blackened fog spill from his hands. Remus smiled happily at the scene.

"He'll be worm food soon enough, Roman... I promise! Connie heads up." Remus jumped up summoning his favorite weapon as he laughed manically at the prison guards rushing to detain them.

"Manic, don't just stand there!" Remus smashed his mace into one of the guard's face just as Janus said that and smiled. "Nevermind. Just hurry up."
