Virgil growled as he spun around to see Rez standing there behind him smiling. It's been like this since the last they had seen each other. Ever since Rez saved him from being shot, the hero wouldn't leave him alone. He was getting very agitated. 

"What do you want?" Rez just smirked as he shook his head.

"Who said I wanted anything?" Rez slowly walked closer till he was directly in front of him and Virgil growled again, wanting nothing more than to punch the damn hero. "Maybe I'm just bored."

"Rez, last I checked you wanted me dead."

"I thought you were trying to kidnap that girl." Virgil tensed his eyes narrowing challengingly as he went to say something only for Rez to shake his head. "I know the truth about what really happened."

"If saving my ass was your way of 'thanks' forget it."

"Maybe i just like you." Rez teased making Virgil spin around to punch him, only the hero caught his fist easily. "What? Don't like the idea."

"No. I don't. Fuck off." Virgil tried to pull his arm free only for Rez to hold him tighter. The look in the heros eyes honestly made him freeze up. Only Roman was allowed to give him that look. "Let me go."

"Alright. I will... But I wanted you to know... I didn't save you because I thought it made us even in anyway. I HELPED you because you were the victim." Virgil frowned as Rez smiled softly. "You were being targetted and hunted down. I wasn't about to let that go."

"You did the last one."

"And I will forever regret that." Virgil's eyes widdened as Rez finally let him go and sighed. "Raven..."

"I don't need your protection." Rez was quick to shake his head as he laughed.

"Of course not. I know better than to treat you like a doll. You've kicked my ass plenty."

"Why the fuck are you here?!" Virgil yelled out his anxiety bubbling up as turned to anger. He was annoyed and completely done with the hero. "If this is some trick to get my gaurd down to arrest me..."

"Raven, I'm not..." Rez groaned as he raked his hand through his ginger hair. "I'm not arresting you. Not now... not... There's no point. I'm honestly just trying to figure out what to do. I'm sort of... on my own right now." Virgil frowned as Rez shrugged. "Thought I would see what you were doing, just for kicks. You know... until something came up."

"Why don't you go hang out with the rest of the power puff girls and leave me the fuck alone."

"Raven..." The second Rez reached out to grab his wrist Virgil threw his arms up and yelled out.

"I HAVE A BOYFRIEND!" Rez froze up like ice as Virgil smirked. He knew... Roman knew exactly what Virgil was doing. "I HAVE A BOYFRIEND! SO PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE!" He was yelling out so that people could hear and come to help him if he needed it. Smart. Making the civilians think that the hero was trying to force something on the other but... At that moment Roman's heart comepletely stopped. 

"You... You have a boyfriend?" Virgil flinched as he glared daggers into the hero. Roman couldn't get over what was said. "You... You actually... Are you being serious, or is it just your attempt at getting me off your back?"

"Yes. I have a boyfriend. One who is highly protective and will literally fight god themself if they so much as look at me wrong. So i'd turn myself around hero before you really piss me off." Roman stumbled back as he laughed. He couldn't help it. He was just so happy. It was the first time Virgil had ever actually confirmed their relationship. "What now?!"

"Nothing. Nothing, I'm just... I'm happy for you I guess." 

"Did someone hit you in the head or... What the fuck is wrong with you?" Rez rolled his eyes as he sighed with a soft laugh. "Seriously, leave me alone. Follow me again and I'll make you're life a living hell." 

"Really? A living hell? Come on now. I'm not even-..." Roman's head jerked over to the side startling Virgil a bit at the sudden change of attention. "Shit." Roman hissed as he ran out of the ally only to freeze as he tried to take in all the sounds.

"What?"

"Shh!" Roman winced as he forced himself to tune into all the sound blocking everything out but where the screams were coming from. The second he heard to slap his blood went cold. "It's to far away to get a mental image and I can't teleport because Polarity isn't here." Virgil's eyes narrowed in confusion as Roman visibly tensed. "Ok. Ok... What can I do?"

"What's wrong?" Roman's eyes lit up as he spun around to see Virgil watching him with concern. "Rez?"

"I need your help." Virgil threw his arms up defensively only making Roman groan slightly as he shook his head. "I need you to turn into Polarity and teleport me somewhere. Please? You don't have to do shit after that but as a hero I need to help and I'm to far away..." Virgil's eyes narrowed as Roman flinched at the sound of another scream. "Fuck it. Catch up if you want. I'm wasting time." Virgil watched as Rez speed off, clearly using his power to lessin the force of gravity and allow him to go super fast. Virgil groaned loudly as he wildly raked his hands through his hair messing it up completely before shifting into Polarity just as the hero had asked him to. 

"I'm going to regret this." Virgil took a deep breath teleporting to wherever his mind could latch onto Rez from before instantly teleporting them again, using Rez as a focal point. They popped back into directly infront of this building that the hero was focused on and Virgil whistled. It was high class that was for sure. He shifted into his raven form as he stepped back to take everything in. "Why are we..." Virgil stopped short the second he heard the screaming. He grabbed Rez again, pulling him in, as he sighed. "Hang on." Roman jumped as Virgil's wings spred out suddenly and they shot up into the air breaking through one of the upper windows before Virgil finally let him go again. 

"Well, that's one way to get up here." Roman joked slightly as he brushed the glass off of himself. Virgil just rolled his eyes as the two slowly started to move through the rooms making their way into the hallway before stopping. "Well... what do we now?" Virgil shot the other a stunned look as Roman just stared out into the mess of doors before them.

"You're the fucking hero. How should I know?"
