chapter Twenty one

They both went to the dungeon and they were feeling Melina's pain because the whole place was dusty and stuffy. They got to the door of the first cell and saw that she was on the floor sleeping. Noe tapped on the door and called her gently "Mel, I am here. Come on baby, get up". Melina heard her brother's voice and stood up in joy. She ran up to the door so that she would be able to see him clearly. She was about to talk to him when she noticed that he was not alone. She looked very closely and was surprised to find someone she could never imagine in a million years with him. Yes, Nylah was with him. "Noe, hey". She greeted. "Hey baby, how are you doing? I am so sorry that you are staying here. I will get you out as soon as possible. By the way, Nylah here has a few things to say to you".
Nylah stepped forward and looked down. She cleared her throat and started speaking "Melina, I will understand if you do not forgive me after everything, I say but, I really need you to forgive me for everything that I have ever done to you. I really played a very big role in making your life miserable and I feel bad for it. For years, I had been listening to father and, that was why I was treating you according to his orders. I have decided to do the right thing and stand by Noe. I am so sorry Melina, please forgive me?"
Tears were dripping down Melina's face as she listened to her sister's words. Even before Nylah finished, she had already forgiven her. She was not one to keep grudges with people. "Nylah, I forgive you. I can never get mad at my only sister, can I? I wish I was not behind bars; I would have given you a hug" They both smiled at each other.
Back at the palace, King Arthur was sitting on the throne when Ashley entered the room. she smiled a sinister smile and walked up to the king, "Arthur, this is not where you belong, this is not your throne, you belong in the dungeon. That throne you are sitting on is rightfully mine so get the hell up!" King Arthur was speechless "Ashley, I respect you and all because of the prophecy but, I will not have you calling me by my name and, what do you mean by I belong in the dungeon?"
"Exactly what I mean Arthur. I am going to take over the kingdom with my dearest mother and you and your family will rot in the dungeon". As she was saying this, the queen entered the room because, she had been hearing the noise and she decided to come out and investigate. "Dear, dear, here comes our queen. I am so happy you are here. You will now accompany your loving husband to the dungeon to go and meet your wonderful children because, a little birdie just told me that the three of them are there right now"
King Arthur proceeded to attack Ashley but before he could even do anything, her eyes turned a dangerous red and she sent a ball of fire towards him. The ball narrowly missed his face and grazed his arm. Even though it was just a mere graze, he felt the burn and it hurt very much. Olivia came out and started clapping "dear brother, you look so pathetic right now. I wish I could record this moment and watch it forever but, I have other things to do like; ruling the kingdom". Her laughter was so scary, it sent shivers down the queen's spine.
She ordered the guards to take them to the dungeon. The king and queen expected the guards to listen to them but, it looked like they were all under a very nasty spell.
Noe, Nylah and Melina were still catching up when they heard the door of the dungeon open. The next minute, they heard it shut and when they turned to check what was up, they were face to face with their parents who had handcuffs round their hands.
It was like one of the scenes in a movie just that, this was no movie, this was very real.
