Chapter Forty nine

It had been one month since Melina and Xavier got married. Melina had already changed into her wolf once. Her wolf was slightly smaller than Xavier’s. it was golden in colour with blue eyes just like hers.
She smiled as she was thinking about it only for Xavier to enter into the room and tap her. “hey baby, what are you thinking of?” “nothing, I was just thinking about you and I”. he smiled and kissed her on her lips. “okay, I have to attend to some pack duties, I will be back later in the evening. Do not stress yourself too much okay?” Melina nodded. He kissed her on her forehead and stepped out.
Melina felt tired and she went into their bedroom to get some rest.
After three hours, she woke up and opened her eyes.
It was there and then that she realized she was bound to a chair and she was somewhere else and that place was not her room.

Melina tried using her powers but she realised that they were not working. She tried again and it was the same thing. It was then she realized that she was in deep shit. She turned around and took in her surroundings. All she could see was that the place was all dark and musty.
She sighed and looked up when she noticed someone wearing a hood entering into the room. When the person got in front of her properly, the hood was removed. She saw a woman that she did not recognise.
“Melina, I am very sure you do not know me but, I am Taliyah, Xavier’s mother. I will just cut to the chase. You see, your powers are not working because they already got transferred to me. So you are as helpless as “helpless” itself”.
She laughed a menacing laughter as she saw the look of horror that coated Melina’s face. “yes, I need power and I will finally get it. The last thing I just need to do is kill you and everything will become mine permanently”.
Melina looked up as the evil woman was talking. She thought about everything that was happening and she wondered if she was truly going to die.

It was when Xavier got into the bedroom and searched for Melina for over six hours and he did not find her that hell broke loose. He was so angry his silver irises were now red in colour. He got mad at the servants and asked them how a whole Luna could be missing. They started their search but, Melina was nowhere to be found.
