Chapter Forty eight

Flashback.
Taliyah’s POV
After Xavier banned me from the kingdom, I got so angry. I might have killed my husband because I wanted to take over the kingdom but, the truth was, I did not care. I was just hungry and thirsty for power.
I found a long lost cave in a forest and I made sure I made it comfortable until it suited my taste. Yes, it looked dark just like my soul.
I sought more powers until the day I had an encounter with some goddess years after I was banned. I did not know why I was visited by her but, I was very happy that she chose me. She appeared to me in my dreams when I was sleeping and that was how she was always communicating with me until we started using the magic mirror.
Druveria told me all about a girl called Melina and how she had numerous powers. She assured me that if I could get my hands on her powers, I would be the most powerful being on earth and then I would be able to make everyone bow to me. She told me that I was her representative on earth.
Getting Melina’s powers was not going to be an easy task so I had to be very patient. I had to wait until she was successfully mated with my son. She had an added power and that was being a wolf.
That was where Druveria came in. she was a goddess and only her could make the successful kidnap of Melina possible. All she needed to do was cloud Melina’s visions, make her fall into a deep sleep and transport her into my cave. Melina would not see it coming because after all, she was still the reincarnation of a goddess and not a goddess.
