Chapter forty four

The next day Melina was set to leave and Xavier saw her to the car. His beta and others already knew that Melina was his mate because, there is a particular look a werewolf will have when he accepts his mate.
“I am going to miss you baby”, Xavier said. Melina blushed at the new nickname. She shook her head as she thought of how much she had been blushing during the past few days. “you too”, she said. He gave her another kiss on her forehead and watched her get into the car. He waved at her until the car was out of sight.

It was two hours since when Melina arrived at Lasantha kingdom. On her arrival, she already told her parents that she had something to discuss with them. She went into the garden and found them there. “Hi, mum and dad. Enjoying yourselves?” she asked. They both smiled at her and said “yes”.
She then proceeded to tell them about everything from the meeting she had with Navistar and Alycaneia, to finding out that Xavier was her mate, to how Xavier treated her coldly and every other thing that happened afterwards. She also told them about the marriage rites.
Her parents were happy that she finally found love but then her father asked a very important question. “Melina, when you get married to Xavier, you will have to move to Lycania right?”
It was there and then that it dawned on Melina that she will actually have to leave her kingdom and her family and move to the wolf kingdom.
“Yes father, I will have to move”.
Her parents were sad but they had no choice and they quickly brushed it up with a smile
Her mother talked “wherever you go dear, the gods will be with you. We love you so much”.
The three of them hugged after that and Melina went back into the palace.
The next three days continued with phone calls from Xavier, a lot of giggling and a lot of blushing until she had a surprise.
