Chapter Fifty

This time, Melina had already been transferred to an altar in preparation for her to be killed. Taliyah entered again and said something that left Melina in shock. “I can see that you are with child”. She watched Melina’s expression and continued “oh, I can see that you do not know about it. Anyway do not dwell on it too much you will soon be dead. Xavier will definitely pay for banishing me when I kill his precious mate”.
Melina closed her eyes and braced herself for the worst. She waited for about two minutes and shot her eyes open when she heard a scream. She looked at herself and realized that she was no longer bound to the altar. She was in the air.
She realized that words were coming out of her mouth and they sounded ethereal. She realized that it was Navistar that had taken over her body.
“how dare you try to hurt the reincarnation of a goddess. Now, you will pay dearly for your mistake”.
Melina looked down and saw Taliyah trembling on her knees. Taliyah was calling upon Druveria to help her but the goddess of hell could not do anything because light and darkness were not supposed to mix.
Navistar spoke through her again “oh Taliyah, you thought you could take a power that was not meant for you. You were supposed to live happily with your son and husband but now, you shall die shamefully”.
A light came out of Melina’s hands and struck Taliyah. In few seconds, she was burnt to ashes.
Navistar left her body and she fell to the ground. She felt so weak but, she got up again. She imagined that she was in the palace and she appeared there immediately.
