Maeve's POV

As soon as we reached the light, I was expecting endless skies and that kung saan man kami ay lumulutang, like we're in some sort of floating island, but we're not.
Instead, we were inside a beautiful enchanted like garden.
Yung mga gardens na makikita mo lang sa mga wallpaper ng laptop or whatever? They kinda look like this.

“Is this..?” I muttered.

“What?” Felicity asked at umiling ako.

“Nothing.”

As much as I love to explore the garden, I need to find Grim first at itanong kung ano ang nangyayari samin.

Patuloy lang ako naglakad, the feel of the grass under my boots felt so soft.
There were even trees here and  may mga prutas pa, all of them shines slightly na para bang kakaulan lang. It looks so wonderful and unreal.

I stumbled backwards ng bigla akong hilahin ng malakas ni Felicity gamit ang likod ng damit ko.
Tiningnan ko sya ng masama,
“Problema mo?!”

Tinuro nya yung nasa harap namin,
“Oh...thanks.” I said sheepishly and she just rolled her eyes.

In front of us is a pond with lilies on it, the water was crystal clear to the point na nakikita mo talaga yung nasa ilalim.

“If I didn't need you to get me out of here hahayaan lang kitang malunod.” I heard Felicity said.

“I'm guessing na two feet lang ang lalim ng pond na to, so I don't think na mapapatay mo ko rito.” I retorted back.

“Oh? Tataas ka pa ba sa two feet?” she asked like she was surprised. This time di ko na lang sya pinansin realizing na wala namang patutunguhan ang pag-aaway namin.

I kneeled in front of the pond to inspect it but it seems like di pa yata tapos si Felicity sa kakakuda nya.

“Listen here, you pipsqueak, for someone your size you--”

“Kapag di ka tumigil hindi kita isasama kapag nakabalik na ko.” I said making her shut up.

I dipped my hand in the water and the water rippled until it suddenly change into a video?
I'm seeing something.

“Is that you?” Felicity asked pero hindi ko sya pinansin.

Parang nanuyo ang lalamunan ko upon seeing that was being played in the pond.
I'm in a hospital bed, puno ng galos at sugat ang mukha ko and I was bandaged everywhere.
Merong tube something na nasa ilong ko and I look like I came out of an accident.

“Oh god.” I muttered.

Bigla akong tinulak ni Felicity sa tabi and dipped her hand na parang nagmamadali, the water rippled again and she too was in a hospital bed and her body was in a situation like mine, the difference is that she was surrounded by her family who were crying.

“An-Anong ibig sabihin nito?” Felicity asked, her voice becoming shrill with panic.

“Ewan ko..” I said

“No, patay na tayo.. Patay na tayo!” she cried out loudly,

“Felicity, listen--” I said pero hindi nya ko pinakinggan, she continued to whail like a child.
