I walk through the halls of the hospital. Luckily, Liz is here with us. She gets a lot of help from everyone here. Of course, I would just compel people, but with Liz we get there too.

"I need you to find Abby Gilbert immediately," Liz tells some guy behind a computer. He starts to search. "She must be in room 407. She has an appointment with doctor Williams," the guy says. "She is not there. You need to find out where she could be," Liz says. "There is no other option. This is the only room reserved for her, besides the room she stays in," the guy says.

I sigh and grab my phone. I call Stefan and stare angrily at the guy behind the computer while I wait. "Is she there?" I ask Stefan as soon as he picks up. "No, her room is empty. Nobody has seen her either," he says. I feel anger flowing inside my veins.

"Where could she be?" I ask nobody in particular. "My deputies will find her," Liz tells me. "Elena and I will go visit Bonnie. She will be able to locate her sooner than the police will," Stefan says. "Okay, I will stay in this hospital. She may be around here somewhere," I tell him.

We both hang up the phone. I look back at Liz. "We need to search this entire hospital," I tell her. Liz nods, "I called the station. They will search the neighborhood and some will join us here." I nod and look around. Where do I start?

Within an hour, I searched the entire hospital together with Liz and her deputies. Liz also askwd people in here to keep an eye out for her. But so far, nobody has seen her.

I try to call Stefan again. It turnes out Bonnie isn't at home and she isn't at school. Elena tries to contact her, but Bonnie isn't answering her phone. Of freaking course! Everything seems to go wrong!

I walk to Abby's room again. Liz lets one of her deputies cover the door. If Abby would show up, he would let us know. But so far, nobody seems to be able to find her.

The deputy smiles lightly at me when I walk in the room. I look around, maybe there is something in here that can help me find her. Of course there isn't anything that could possibly help me, but I need to do something to get my mind off of losing her.

I have no idea where she is or what that guy wants from her, but it doesn't feel good. Hell, how could it feel good? Some guy tells us Abby is sick, only to keep her in the hospital and kidnap her a few days later. Why? Why her? Why now?

The door opens. I turn around as quickly as I possibly can, with hope. But I sigh when Liz walks in. "Still no sign?" Liz asks. I shake my head and walk around in the room. I feel the anger burning in my veins. I ball my fists and try to control my breathing. But nothing helps. I need to get this anger out of my system somehow...

When I start seeing red spots, I lift my fist and hit the first thing close to me. It turns out to be the closet. The wood creaks and it almost falls apart. I take a deep breath. At least I feel better. I turn around and see Liz with a concerned look staring at me.

"Damon, you need to stay calm," she says. "Stay calm? Abby is taken by some dude who made everyone believe she was sick for some fucking reason! We have no idea what he wants with her! Hell, we don't even know if she is still alive!" I shout. Will she be dead? No, I can't think like that. But what if she is?

"No, she is not dead," Liz says, "why would that guy go through all this trouble just to kill her. If he wanted her dead, she would be." I don't know if her words calm me or not. But she is right. Why would he put her in this hospital for a week just to kill her? It is a god damn hospital! If he wanted to kill her, he could've just given her some kind of injection. But he didn't.

"Why does he want her alive then? Why?" I ask Liz. "I don't know. But we need to stay calm. I have people at the station trying to find everything there is to find about that guy, including his hiding spots," she says. I nod and grab my phone. I gladly see Stefan texted me.
