Lucas Moore's Point of View.
"We're fine, thank you."
"No, Joaquin! Try some of this too! I baked those on my own."
"Oo nga, tumulong ako dyan."
"Kerght, you did not help. You literally spilled the flour, remember?"
"Ate naman, e."
I shook my head. Humigop ako ng iced coffee na binigay sa amin ni Ate Arriana. We're at her office now. Susunduin namin si Aika. It's been weeks now simula noong mabangga siya. She only got minor injuries but with those, she also got her memory back. Hindi naman malaking gap ng memory ang nawala sa kanya. Only few, almost a year only but it just got a big deal because that year consists of the most tragic moments of her life. After a week of being confined, we sent Aika back to her home again and she started to open herself to us little by little. She also got hired on Kerght's company. Everything went so fast, with just three weeks, a lot of things have already taken place.
I watched Quin as he took a bite of the cookie that Ate Arriana has been flexing to us since we got here. He smiled a bit before continued eating. Today, the six of us, will be eating dinner together. It's Saturday and our classes was dismissed an hour earlier because of the fire drill for the arts department. Aika took a night shift, and since she only works as an assistant of the prosecutors and she knows ate Arriana, her work hours starts on 5pm and ends on 10pm. Yep, five hours only but she receives salary amounting to a prosecutor's salaries. Connections, joke.
"Angelica, it's almost 10pm, where's Aika?" asked Ate Arriana.
Tumingin ako sa pintuan ng office niya at nakitang nakatayo roon ang prosecutor na boss ni Aika.
"May pinahatid lang po ako sa kanya dito sa office niyo at sabi ko po ay pwede na siya mag-out after non." she answered.
"Then where is she?"
"Miss Angelica," we all looked behind the prosecutor and saw Aika holding a bunch of papers. As soon as the prosecutor saw her, she gave way to Aika but did not help her bring the papers inside.
I was about to stood up when Tyron and Aeraun already did. Pinuntahan nila si Aika at kinuha ang mga papers na dala niya. I smirked.
After a long session of ate Arriana reminding us to drive safe, we finally went out of the building.
"Wala bang kamay 'yong prosecutor na 'yon?" Kerght said.
"Hmm, okay lang sa akin. Parang pagbubuhat lang." Aika answered.
"Kahit pa," Tyron said.
I shook my head and rode my motorbike. The three also did while Joaquin and Aika entered Quin's car. Joaquin barely uses his motorbike when we are with Aika ever since the incident happened. Maybe he's afraid of what could happen again.
We drove our way to Aika's place. Last week, ganito rin ang nangyari. It was Saturday and after Aika's shift, we had a dinner in her place. We ordered pizza, chicken wings, ice cream, fries, and bought chips. Tonight is the same, I don't know, baka makasanayan na namin 'to. And I don't have a problem with that though! Hahaha.
"Ganon ba ulit o-orderin natin?" asked Tyron while holding his phone up.
"Yeah, do you want something else--"
"Wala, okay na ako!" Kerght cut Joaquin. Pft.
"Aika." Joaquin finished his sentenced while playfully glaring at Kerght. Kerght pouted and that is when I burst out laughing. Napaka-arte neto, daig pa si Aika.
