"Eat," I say to Natalie as her head rests on the table of the only fast food place open at 1 a.m. She lifts her head and shakes it as her hands lay below her face keeping her head up.

"I am so fucked up." She groans. A cheeseburger and fries remain right in front of her on the table and I have a feeling she's not even going to take a bit of it, so I snatch a couple of her fries and plop them into my mouth.

"Yea, how'd that happen?" I ask. Usually Jessica is the one getting fucked up and we are the ones taking care of her. Somehow the roles were reversed and I can't lie, it's slightly entertaining. I've seen Natalie drunk a few times but she usually has the munchies during. I've never seen her drunk enough to not eat.

"Well, after you left Natalie and I waited in the car hoping you'd find your way back. I realized I still had the bottle on me so we drank some. Her more than me." Jessica explained, looking over at Natalie.

"I didn't leave." I say.

"We thought you left us. I'm so happy you're back." Natalie says as she rests her head on my shoulder. Natalie' phone buzzes on the table right in front of us.

"Fuck, Tristan is here. Help me up." She says and I stand up from the booth and grab her arm, pulling her up from her seat. As she stands up her legs wobble a bit but she manages to stay upright. She brushes her hair out of her face and smiles at me.

"I love you," she slurs as she pinches my cheeks.

"I love you too, now get home safe." I say as she walks off to Tristan's car. I'm happy her boyfriend was able to get her at this hour and that she just decided to leave her car with us. She's given us the keys a few times because she knows we'd never let anything happen to her car. Her trust in us comes in handy in situations like this.

I sit back in the booth and take another sip of my vanilla milkshake.

"I thought you left because you were mad at me for not telling you Mason's home." Jessica admits, staring down at her half-eaten fries.

"I was mad," I say. "How could you not tell me he's back?"

"I'm sorry, I was going to tell you after tonight." She says and I sigh at her response. It would have been better if she told me before than but I'm too tired to argue so I decide to drop it.

"Did him and his mom move back?" I ask.

"No, she's still in Seattle."

"So where is he staying then?" I question.

"He's actually staying with us." Jessica answers and my stomach drops.

"What?" Mason is staying with Jessica's family? Why? Where's his mom and why isn't she back? A million questions popped in my head all at once but I don't want to make it seem like I really care. So what if he's back? My eyes travel all around the room as my mind tries to make sense of it all.

"Now since I've been honest, are you going to be honest with me?" Jessica asks and my eyes dart back to hers. I watch as she takes a sip of her milkshake before I answer her question. Does she know?

"What do you mean?" I ask, trying to keep my eyes anywhere but at her.

"I'm not an idiot, I know you weren't the only one in that garage." Jessica says.

While I was driving over here I filled Jessica in on the last hour and a half while Natalie was passed out in the backseat. But I only told her that I was the only one in the garage and that I drank and played a little music until a random stranger let me out. So technically I told her a bullshit story and skipped through all the sex activities I engaged in with her cousin.
