"You're drinking?" Jessica asks as we make our way to the kitchen.
"I can't, I'm driving." I say. If I had known this was going to be a party I never would have driven.
Once we're in the kitchen, I immediately notice all the different kinds of alcoholic drinks. I'm still shocked this turned into a party. I'm surprised Aiden's father was okay with all of this. The teenagers, alcohol and drugs. It wasn't something Aiden would throw six months ago.
I direct my eyes back to Mason and Sofia as I grab a cup for Jessica and place it in front of her on the counter. Jessica follows my eyes and watches as Mason strokes Sofias leg.
"Well, I see Masons made himself at home." She jokes as she grabs a bottle in front of her and pours the brown liquid inside her cup.
"What does he see in her anyways?" I ask. I'll never understand how every guy in our class seems lovestruck by Sofia.
"Tits and ass." I roll my eyes at her response. "It's true. He doesn't see anything else. None of them do, it's how they're wired." She jokes.
I guess she's right though, it's not like Mason would actually see anything even remotely interesting about her. The one thing they have in common is their enormously high body count. The thought of me and Mason sleeping together makes me feel nauseous. I can't believe I am on the list of people Mason's slept with. Truth is, I'm no better than Sofia.
"Elle!" I hear from in front of me. I look up and see Aiden calling us over to the living room.
There's a whole group of teenagers sitting in the living room around the coffee table, along with Sofia and Mason. The last thing I wanted to do was join them, I wanted to be with Aiden alone. The mission of this party was to keep Mason and Aiden away from each other, not closer together. But just like Jessica said, it's probably all in my head.
We make our way over to the living room, squeezing past drunken teenagers in the crowded house. Once we're there Sofia eyes me up and down which brings a smile to her face.
"Nice dress." She says. I sit down on the floor next to Aiden, as Jessica sits on the couch right next to us.
"Thanks." I say quietly, which brings Sofia to laugh softly. I knew what she was doing, and I wasn't going to let it affect me.
"I'm bored." Sofia said as she took a sip out of the clear bottle of vodka she had in her hand. After taking a sip, she looked at the bottle for a moment as if an idea had popped into her head.
"Let's play a drinking game." She said.
"A game?" Mason asked, seeming uninterested in her question. Sofia leaned in closer to Mason's ear.
"I want to know all of your dirty little secrets." She whispered. Mason rolled his eyes at her comment, and takes a sip from the beer in his hand. For a moment his green eyes connect with mine and I have to force myself to look away.
"What kind of game?" Jessica asks. I turn my head around to face her and shoot her look.
I know Sofia has some trick up her sleeve and I don't want to get caught in the middle of it. Jessica ignores the look I give her and leans in, scooting closer to the group.
"What about Never Have I Ever?" She asks. I scoff at her question. What a childish game. This game starts nothing but drama, the sole purpose of it is to get the dirt on the people. Of course she would want to play this game.
"I'm in." Jessica says. I turn my head back to her and raise my eyebrows in shock. She continues to stare at Sofia, ignoring my glare and I sigh.
