Daddy...and Kara

The next morning, I opened my eyes to find Kara atop me and sweating. It was fucking hot in this room, so I gently laid her down. Dennis was passed out on the ground and I looked around the small bedroom to see if Tom was anywhere to be seen. I began to feel extremely concerned and decided to find him. I wasn't completely hungover but I had a small headache from the tequila. I went downstairs and found that there were beer cans, people passed out in odd places at odd angles, and the weirdest thing was that Tom was nowhere to be found. Where the hell was he? Then I saw Harry half naked on top of a girl, but...no Tom. Then I heaedw Kara come downstairs and she was a little wobbly. "Mmm morning baby..." Did she just call me baby? What the hell?! I looked at her and she was just smiling like the Cheshire Cat, all wide and toothy. "Um, good morning." She came over and wrapped her arms around me. No! You have Dennis! And she did the thing I completely forgot about the night before. She kissed me again. Now she was making me question my own sexuality. She pulled away and smiled. "You were so sweet to me last night." Oh shit! What dad would do to me if he found out that I kissed a girl. Found out that there was homosexuality in the Spades. He'd disown me. I just smiled back. "It's my job as a best friend right." I added emphasis on "best friend" to let her know what we still had. And why would Dennis break up with her when she could kiss that good?! Wait what was I saying. I just pulled away from her. "Gemma, what's wrong with you?" I looked at her. "Don't you know who I am? Do you realize what my dad would do to me if he found out I was kissing a girl?!" I got scared. Kara was really sweet and caring as a friend, but she was more  caring when she kissed me. I don't think a guy has ever been that sweet of a kisser before. I sat down and she sat on the couch beside me on her knees. "Sweetie, you were there when I needed someone to talk to. Dennis was being a complete dick to me and you were there to help me forget that. I knew that Ben was going to come too and I didn't mean to invite him. He didn't hurt you did he?" I shook my head and looked at her. "No. Thankfully Tom was there to let him know that we didn't have a thing going again." She smiled and held my face. "Good. I'm sorry for waking you." I smiled back and found myself lost in her eyes again. "What does this mean?" I asked her. She stroked my cheek lightly. "You don't have to date me if you don't want to. It's just that, I can't stop thinking about you, Gemma. I'm not sure why, but I just turn to Jell-O when I look into your beautiful eyes. If you don't want to date me...that's ok too. I just wanted to tell you my feelings." Her eyes averted to the ground and I felt a tingly feeling in my belly. A sweet feeling. Maybe I needed to try something new. I mean, every guy I date is such a dick! Roger was two years younger than me, Darric wanted sex constantly and Ben...let's not talk about his lazy ass. I wanted to see how this would be anyways. I took her face in my hands and kissed her.

After we kissed for some time, she told me that she would help me find Tom. So we did. She wore dark shades outside because she was so hungover. "I've never been to the hideout before." She said. I smiled. "It's home, Kara. Now when we walk in don't hold my hand or hug me." She nodded understandingly and soon we walked through the doors of the hideout. And there was dad, once again with a blonde dangling from his side half drunk. Dad had a beer in his hand and I walked up to him with Kara. "Hi daddy. This is my best friend Kara."
