The Man in the Blue Shirt and All Hell Breaks Loose.

I was rushing into the hospital holding Tom's hand while doctors pushed his gurney. They said that he was bleeding, and was losing blood. "Baby, stay with me!" I yelled, sobbing. I've been through enough these past few days and the last thing I want to do is lose the guy that I love. Soon they reached an operating room and a male nurse blocked off the doorway. "Ma'am, I'm going to need you to go into the waiting room. He will need some surgery to-" "Please I don't think you understand! I need to be with him!" Tears were streaming down my face. "Ma'am, I'm sorry but you can't be in here." He said and walked into the same room that Tom was in. I put my face in my hands and cried. "Oh Tommy...I never meant to get you involved in any of this. I really didn't." I leaned against the wall and slid down it slow. Finally, someone ran up to me. "Gemma, you gotta get up." It was a man with huge arms from what I could feel. Could it be? I pulled my hands away from my face and I wrapped my arms around this man's neck. "Daddy, Tommy's hurt. Please don't let him die." I sobbed and when I opened my eyes I saw that there wasn't long black hair I was thinking this man would have. He didn't even have on a gray shirt. He had on a blue one. I pulled away and looked into this man's light green eyes. "I'm sorry...I didn't man to-" "No! It's ok. I understand. Are you Gemma?" I nodded slowly. This guy's accent was definitely from around here was was almost like Tom's. "I-I'm Doug. Doug Penhall. I came to see if Tom was ok. He's my best friend and everyone back at the-uh-apartment is really worried about him. He was my roommate." I turned and looked at the double doors that were concealing my boyfriend's injured body. "They say he will be fine, but I got him into this. I did. And I didn't mean to. I wouldn't want him in any pain, or anything to ever be wrong with him. I-I love him." Tears began to stream again. Doug pulled me into his massive blue shirt covered chest where I weeped for Tom.

Hours after sitting in those uncomfortable waiting room chairs, the doctor finally walked in. Doug and I stood up together. "How is he, doc? Will he be ok?" I was holding onto Doug's arm. "Tom will be completely ok. He's in recovery right now, but you can go see him. He wanted to see you two anyways." I sighed in relief and took Doug's hand where I dragged him to Recovery. There was Tom, laying I'm bed chewing on ice and his arm in a sling. "Baby!" I screamed and went to him, hugging his good side. I was smiling in his chest, relieved that he was alive and ok. "I see that you two ran into one another." Tom said, grinning. I pulled back and turned to glance at Doug. "Yeah we did." Doug chuckled. I stroked Tom's cheek. "I'm so glad you're ok." I leaned over and pecked his lips.

Later Tom and I were cuddling on the bed watching TV. I could hear his heart rate rising slightly and it made me giggle a bit. "Want some pizza?" I whispered looking up at him. Tom nodded. "Yeah Gemma that would be great. Here's my wallet." He gave me his wallet that was underneath his pillow and I stood up and went into the bathroom with the phone. As I fished through his wallet, I found his driver's license. What was weird was that his license was recently renewed. I pulled it out just to see and I read it:

Name: Thomas DeWayne Hanson II
Sex: M
Height: 5 ft./10 in.

Hanson? Thomas Hanson? But his name was Tom Parcello. I looked through his wallet some more and found that there was a velcro flap that opened. I pulled it open and something silver and shiny came out. I gasped. It was a police badge! I started shaking and my body was warming up. "T-Tom?" I whispered. I couldn't scream! I couldn't even talk normally! I panicked and through his wallet down, the badge skidding across the white tile floor. I shot up and went into his room. "I didn't order the pizza Officer Tom Hanson!"
