Chapter Five

The impala pulled up in front of a motel. Sam and dean got out and looked around. Dean went to open the back door before Sam called out to him "ummm, maybe I should get her. Your still wet and covered in mud." Dean looked down at himself before nodding. Sam opened the door and lifted Liddy out of her seat. "Down meme" Liddy said as she squirmed trying to get him to put her down. "Sorry bubs, not yet. We have to get you cleaned up and clothed before we let you run around. Just wait aliitle longer ok?" She pouted. She wanted to run but nooooo.

They all walked into the entrance. Dean handed over his credit card, feeling miserable still covered in mud. The guy at the counter looked at them, then down at the card "you guys having a reunion or something?". Sam spoke up "what do you mean?" He was also trying to keep Liddy from bugging dean as she tried to poke at the mud on his ear.

"That other guy Burt. He came in and bought out a room for a hole month." The man said. The brothers looked at each out realising dad had been here. Liddy saw her opportunity to strike and managed to poke at some mud on deans nose. Dean stared at her unimpressed but then laughed at the slightly evil grin on her face.

They all walked outside to where the room dad had was. Dean stood watch holding kiddies hand while Sam picked to look. Liddy was fiddling with sams jacket that was still wrapped around her. It was so big she couldn't see her feet. She started swinging one of the long arms at dean. He smirked down at her cheekiness.

Sam got the door unlocked and turned around, scooping Liddy up and grabbing dean by his shirt dragging him into the room. They looked around the room in chock. There was papers stuck up on all the walls.

Dean walked over and turned a lamp on. He saw a half eatin burger on the night stand. He smelled it and recoiled. "Ew, I don't think he's been here for a couple days atleast". Liddy clung to Sam tighter as he stepped over a line of salt "salt, cat's eye shell. He was worried. Trying to keep something from coming in". Liddy didn't understand but was worried about her daddy "daddy?why not here?" Dean looked over his shoulder at her "don't worry Liddy, we'll find dad soon."

Dean walked over to one of the walls and started reading all the information. Sam walked over to join him after sitting Liddy down. She through off the jacket and starting looking for anything fun. "What have you got there?" Sam said as he joined dean, making the mistake of turning his back on the 2 year old looking for trouble.

"Centennial high way victims. I don't get it. I mean, different men, different jobs, ages, ethnicities. There's always a connection right? What do these guys have in common." Dean said speaking out load trying to figure out the connection. Sam tuned around looking at the other walls. He walked up to them until he see's one section. "Dad figured it out." Sam said making dean look over at him "what do you mean?" Dean started walking over to him. "He found the same article we did. Constance Welch. She's a women in white."

Dean looks back at all the victims "these sly dogs. Alright so if we're dealing with a women in white dad would have found the corps and destroyed it." Sam was squinting at the article "she might have another weakness." Dean walked back over "Well Dad would have wanted to make sure. He'd dig her up. Does it say where she was berried?" "Nah, not that I can tell. If I were dad though, I'd go ask her husband. If he's still alive." Sam said as he went to continue looking.

"Alright, why don't you see if you can find an address. I'm gonna get me and Liddy cleaned up....sammy...where did you put Liddy?" Dean ask'ed as both brothers looked at each other. They turned around when they heard a commotion. There's was Liddy in nothing but her nappy with an empty take out bag stuck on her head covering her eyes. She goes to move only to walk into the edge off the table falling onto her butt "oops. I ok, I ok" she says and she push's her self back up.
