When they arrived at the library, Liddy was still peacefully sleeping away so dean ended up with her cuddled up to him while he searched for information. Sam couldn't help but smirk as dean struggled to turn pages and not accidently wake her up. It was still really weird for him to see this type of side to his brother. He still sees the cocky son of a bitch but when it comes to Liddy, he's soft and sweet.

Sam thoughts are interrupted when dean speaks up "here's something, I think. Logbook, Iowa state penitentiary. 'Carnes, Jacob. Personal effects disposition thereof.'" Sam questions "does it mention the hook?" Dean continues to read "hmmm..... yeah, maybe. 'Upon execution, all earthly items shall be remanded to the prisoners house of worship, St. Barnabus church.'"

The name clicks to the boys and Sam says "isn't that where lori's father preaches?" Dean noded "yeah" Sam shakes his head at the connection "where Lori lives." Dean noded again "maybe that's why the hook man's been hunting reverends and reverends daughters for the past 200 years."

Sam frowns "yeah, but if the hook were at the church or lori's house, don't you think somebody might have seen it? I mean a blood stained sliver handled hook?" Dean listened looked at Sam "we'll check the church records." Sam nodded and got up to go find what they needed.

When he got back, dean had moved over to the couch's so he could lay Liddy down properly. Sam handed him some of the books and sat down as they started searching. It took a while but he finally found something "St. Barnabus, donations, 1862. Received : silver handled hook from state penitentiary.... reforged." He shook his head realising what happened "they melted it down. Made it into something else."

Dean nodded and started packing everything up. Once they were ready he went to pick Liddy up but she woke up, rubbing at her eyes "well well well, look who finally decided to wake up. Right when we finished the boring part. I know your game little miss" he tickled her sides as he picked her up and started walking out with Sam. She giggled tiredly and tried to hide her face in i]his neck.

....

They pulled up outside the church. Dean looked back at the now fully awake toddler in the back seat. He whispered to Sam "what should we do this time?" Sam looked back and thought "we have to bring her. It's too dangerous to leave her outside with the hook man being able to show up anywhere." Dean nodded and they got out, Sam grabbing Liddy from the backseat.

They started walking towards the church while looking around there surroundings, keeping an eye out for the hookman. As they got closer dean said "alright, we can't take any chances. Anything silver goes in the fire." Sam noded "I agree... so lori's still in the hospital. We have to break in." Dean noded "alright. Take your pick." Sam thought hard "I'll take the house. I'll keep this one with me for now." Dean noded "ok." He smiled at Liddy before Sam and her left.

Before they got far dean called out to them "hey. Stay out of her underwear drawer." Dean smirked when Liddy nodded and smacked Sam's shoulder giving him a pouty look, like her better do as he's told. Sam shakes his head and continues over to the house.

Sam makes quick work of breaking in and puts Liddy down. "Ok bub. We have a job to do. You see anything metal that looks like this, you grab it and put it in this bag. Can you do that?" She nodded quickly 'ok good. Stay in the Sam room as I am at all times ok?" She nodded again and they both started searching room by room.

After they finished searching the house, they quickly made there way over to the church and down to the basement where dean was waiting. Sam raced down the stairs with the bag and Liddy in his arms. "I got everything that even looked silver." Dean nodded "Better safe then sorry." Sam put Liddy down and droppped the bag. He and dean started throwing pieces into the fire as Liddy smiled "I did too." Dean smiled at her "you did good bubs. But let us do this bit. The fire is dangerous." She nodded and stayed behind them. They all stopped and looked up when they herd a sound and dust fell from the ceiling. The could hear footsteps above them. "Move, move" dean grabbed the shot gun while Sam grabbed his gun and Liddy as they raced up stairs.
