They arrived at the library to research. Dean and Sam talked as they watched Liddy running back and forth in front of them. She had so much energy today they were glad she was wearing herself out. Dean asked Sam "so you believe her?" Sam nodded "I do." Dean smirked "yeah, I think she's hot too." Sam shook his head annoyed "no, man. There's something in her eyes. And listen to this, she heard scratching on the roof. Found the blood body suspended upside down over the car."

Liddy darted out of sight down one of the sections of shelves. The boys quickly followed her and were greatfull her short little legs couldn't outrun them. Dean called to her "Liddy, Oi back here now!" He held his hand out and she smirked running back and pretty much throwing herself against his leg. Dean stumbled but kept his balance. Liddy clung to his leg, wrapping her arms and legs around his leg, siting on his foot. Dean kept trying to walk, putting a lot of effort into the leg she was on causing her to giggle.

Dean stopped and turn to look at Sam when something he said reminded him of something. "Bloody body suspended, sounds like...." Sam noddd "yeah I know. The hook man legend." Dean didn't want to believe that's what they had found "it's one of the most famous urban legends ever. You don't think we're dealing with the hook man?"

Sam shrugged "every urban legend has a source. A place where it all began." Dean tried to reason "yeah but what about the phantom scratches, tire punctures and the invisible killer?" Liddy jumped up from dean's leg with her answer yelling "boo!" With her hands up, trying to be scary. Dean and Sam just smirked, not taking her seriously.

Sam tried to think of an answer to deans question and realised Liddy may be on to something there. "maybe the hook man isn't a man at all. What if it's some kind of spirit?" Sam nodded down to Liddy. Dean looked and frowned at him "that's just a coincidence. She doesn't even know what we're talking about." Dean turned and started walking towards the desk's to ask for the archives.

Liddy turned back to sam and put her hands up again trying to be scary "boo! Kook boo!" Sam scrunched up his face when he realised when she says kook, she means hook. The thought passed through his head that she somehow knew what they were fighting before they did. But he shook his head not taking it seriously.

"Come on, dean's getting away." He said as he tried to get her to follow dean. Liddy gasps realising he's right and she quickly took off running after dean. She saw him standing at a desk talking to someone and ran as face as her little legs could take her and slammed into the back of his legs making him almost fall. Both dean and the lady looked down at her as she giggled away. The lady smiled and said to do "that's cute. If you take a seat, I'll bring it right too you." Dean smiled and nodded bending down to pick Liddy up.

"Man, you have so much energy today. Maybe we need to pull back on the sugar." She giggled as dean sat down with her on his knee. Sam sat down beside them and commented "no duh. She needs healthier food then what we've been feeding her half the time." Dean just gave him a bitch face as he adjusted Liddy into a more comfortable position. The lady came back and put the box down for them. She smiled at Liddy and place a colouring in page and a small pack of crayons down infront of Liddy. Liddy gasps and grabbed them quickly. Sam and dean thanked her since Liddy didn't know her manners yet.

Liddy happily started scribbling the crayons against the page, not in the lines at all. Dean and Sam opened the first box as the lady put more boxes on the table "here you go, arrest records going back to 1851." Dean smiled and coughs before liddy let's out a sneeze at the dust boxes. Dean smirks then looks up at the lady "thanks."

Sam whips some of the dust off the top of one of the boxes, making Liddy sneeze again. Dean uses her shirt to whip her nose. Sam rolls his eyes at the bad habit he was teaching her. Dean looks back at the boxes, not looking forward to looking through it all "so this is how you spent four good years of your life, huh?" They opened the boxes as Sam replied "welcome to higher education."
