They finally made it back to Lawrence. Liddy had just woken up from a nap and was feeling giggly. Sam was too busy lost in thought but dean was smirking because she was giggling at nothing.

Liddy looked at dean as he looked at her in the rear view mirror and quickly hid hear face and giggled again. Dean shook his head while smirking. Little kids can be amused by the weirdest things.

After a few seconds Liddy calls out to dean "D!" Dean asks "yes baby?" But instead of replying she just giggles again. She waits a second and calls out again "D!" Dean try's not to laugh as he realises that's all she's gonna do is call out to him but still he asks "yes Liddy? What's up?" And she giggles again.

They both way a few seconds and then Liddy starts yelling "D! D! D! D!" This makes dean laugh loudly "ok Liddy, yes we hear you. Please stop yelling silly girl." Sam is finally snapped out of his thoughts and looks back at her to see her holding onto her foot that she had managed to take her shoe off of and is smiling and giggling. Sam smiles "now how did you manage to get your shoe off."

Dean laughs again as Sam try's to grab her shoe but she throws in on the floor where he can't get it and laughs more. "Liddy really? What is going on with you right now." Sam shakes his head as he tries to reach the shoe.

He finally managed to grab it but when he looks up his see's Liddy has he goes in her mouth while smiling "ew, no! Liddy no! Get your toes out of your mouth!" Dean can't help but laugh at his siblings even though he can't look since he's driving. "Dude just leave her. She's having fun and it's not like the shoe will stay on even if you put it on her now." Sam just shakes his head and sits forward right as the pass the sign for their home town.

....

They pull up in front of their old old house. The boys just look at for a few seconds. Sam noticed how uncomfortable dean was "you gonna be alright man?" Dean takes a breath "let me get back to you on that" they both sigh and get out of the car.

Dean goes to the back seat to get Liddy only to find she has managed to get both shoes off. He shakes his head and grabs her "oh well. You don't need your shoes right this second anyway." He carries her and follows Sam towards the house.

They get to the door and Sam knocks. It doesn't take long for a women to answer the door "yes?" Sam noticed it's the women from his dream as dean answers "sorry to bother you ma'am. We're with the..." but Sam cuts him off "I'm Sam Winchester, and this is my brother Dean and out sister Lydia. Um, we use to live here. You know, we were just driving by and we were wondering if we could come and see the old place. Show this little one where we grew up. The old family home."

Jenny nodded "Winchester....yeah, it's so funny. You know, I think I found some of your photos the other night." Dean was shocked "you did?" Jenny looked back into her house, thinking for a few seconds before smiling at the boys "okay, come in." They quickly followed her in and too the kitchen"

As they walked in they could hear a little boy repeating "juice, juice, juice" over and over again, while a young girl sat at the dining table" jenny went to the fridge quickly "that's Richie, he's kind of a juice junkie. But hey, at least he won't get scurvy."

Liddy watched him get juice. Now she was jealous. Where's her juice. She looks at dean with a big frown on her face. Dean was alarmed "no. Don't even think about having a screaming fit over juice." Jenny giggled at the pair "I can get her one if you'd like. Dean shook his head "that's nice of you but no thanks. She needs to learn that just because someone else gets something, doesn't mean she can get it by throwing a fit." Jenny nodded in agreement. She then turned her attention to her daughter "sari, this is Sam, dean and Lydia. They used to live here." Sari smiled at them "hi" Dean waved while trying to distract Lydia from her thoughts of screaming to get juice. Sam answered for them "hey sari."

Dean bounced Lydia and asked "so you just moved in?" Jenny nods "yeah, from Wichita." Dean questioned "you got family here or..?" Jenny was clearly a little uncomfortable "no, I just.... ah... needed a fresh start, that's all..... so new town, new job... I mean as soon as I find one. New house."

The boys felt bad at making her sad like that. Sam asked "so how are you liking it so far?" Jenny wasn't sure how to answer without offending them "well, all due respect to your childhood home.. I mean, I'm sure you have lots of happy memories here.. but this place has its issues."

Sam frowned "what do you mean?" Jenny looked at them "well it's just getting old. Like the wiring, you know? We've got flickering lights almost hourly " the cought deans attention quickly "well that's to bad. What else?" Jenny sighed thinking "umm, well, the sinks backed up. There's rats in the basement." But she stopped when she saw both the boys faces "I'm sorry. I don't mean to complain."

Dean smiled "no. Have you seen the rats or have you just heard scratching?" Jenny thought for a second "it's just the scratching, actually." As Jenny said this Lydia whispered to dean. "It angwy. No nice." The hairs on the back of deans knew stood up as soon as she said this.

His thoughts where broken when he hair sari talk "mum? Ask them if it was here when they lived here." They boys where alarmed by this. Sam asked "what sari?" Sari looked at them "the thing in my closet?" Jenny tried to sooth her daughter "oh no baby. There was nothing in their closets." Jenny looked at them to go along with her "right?"

Sam quickly tried to go along with her even though he knew better "right, no. No of cause not." Dean was quiet as he felt Liddy tighten her hold on him and whisper again "bad monster." He patted her back trying to keep her calm as he listen to the pair in front of him. Jenny said "she had a nightmare the other night." Sari shook her head "i wasn't dreaming. It came into my bedroom, and it was on fire." The boys were both shocked at this news.

....

After a little bit long the boys made their leave. They got back to the car and as Dean was straining Lydia into her seat Sam was saying "you hear that? A figure on fire." Dean noded " and that was the women in your dreams?" Sam nodded back "yeah. And did you hear what she was talking about? Scratching, flickering lights. Both signs of a malevolent spirit."

Dean shook his head as he got into the front seat "yeah well, I'm just freaked out your weirdo visions are coming true." Sam was annoyed "we'll forget about that for a minute. The thing in the house, think it killed mum and Jessica?" The boys were now yelling at each other and Liddy was getting scared.

Dean yelled "I don't know!" But Sam kept at him "i mean, has it come back?or has it been here the hole time?" Dean yelled back at him "or maybe it's something else entirely! Sam, we don't know yet!" Sam argued "well, those people are in danger Dean. We have to get them out of that house."

Dean nodded in frustration "and we will." Sam yelled at him "no! I mean now!" Dean yelled back "and how you gonna do that? huh? You got a story she'll believe?" Sam yelled again "then what are we supposed to do?" Dean started the car to cut off the yelling since he herd Liddy starting to cry. "Ok baby, no more yelling for the moment ok. It's ok." Sam looked back at her sadly not realising they had upset her so much.
