We are here in the football field doing the warm up for the our training.

Yes, I'm a football player of this university. It's crazy that I can handle being a student-athlete-leader for almost 4 years of my college life.

Sinubukan kong magtry out sa football team pagpasok ko dito nung first year. Maswerte lang ako lang ako na nakapasa kasama ni Patrice na marunong talaga.

Alison, my VP is our captain while Patrice, also my bestfriend like Sam is our co captain.

We've been the champion since last year and we're eager to get the repeat championship for this year since most of us were graduating.

At ako ang inassign ni Ali for drills ngayon.

But as an incharge grabe rin ako magpawarm up sa kanila, kaya mismong kapitana nagrereklamo na.

Hinayaan namin silang maggame after warm up habang kami nila Pat at Ali ay nag uusap. Wala pa kasi si Coach.

"Where is Ventura?" tanong ni Pat.

"Hindi ko pa siya nakikita." sagot ko naman. She's searching for our center midfielder.

"Hayaan niyo 'yon." Ali replied.

"Since Vienna is injured, sinong magiging sweeper natin? We need a substitute and in a month na lang ang competition." sabi ni Pat.

"Nakausap ko narin si Coach dyan and I think he has the solution." sabi ni Ali sa amin.

"What is it?" tanong ko.

"You mean who?" sabi ni Pat.

"May nahanap na silang sub?" tanong ko naman. Wala kase akong nasagap na balitang meron na.

"Meron, infact kaya wala si Coach ngayon kasi kasabay niyang pupunta ang sub dito." sabi ni Ali.

That's too fast. Halos nga di mabuo ang team dahil kokonti lang ang qualified eh.

"Sorry for making you all wait." sabi ni Coach kaya napalingon ako kase ako lang ang nakatalikod sa direksyon nila.

He's with 2 ladies wearing a football attire.

"Girls, come here!" our coach ordered.

Kaya lumapit naman yung iba pa naming teammates.

"Since Vienna can no longer play, Dominique suggested Morgan to be the substitute." halos mapanganga ako sa sinabi niya.

"Welcome to the team, Lazaro." sabi ni Alison.

Yes, Lazaro is the new sweeper of the team.

Hindi siya nakasalamin ngayon, bagay rin pala niya na wala 'yon.

"It took a lot of effort to convince her." sabi ni Dominique

Dominique from Biology Department, she's the bestfriend of Lazaro.

Dominique is a silent type of person who don't care about people, really. She barely speaks but as one of our teammates, kilala siya dito sa campus.

Like Lazaro, she's a transferee last year and also my blockmate within few subjects. Medyo pareho sila ng ugali ni Lazaro pero hindi niya naman ako inaasar.
