Declaration - Kim Hongjoong

Chapter 6

Hana was on her way to the new cafe she started working on. She tried calling Hongjoong several times but he would just ignore her. She then started leaving him messages which he chose to ignore it as well. Giving up she sigh and enter the cafe, changing her clothes first in the back room and wear an apron.

She came out and shows the brightest smile she have to the customers that enters. It was one thing Hana learns that, the more friendly and nice you act to the customers, the more customers you have. They like people with generous and kind workers.

The owner who was called Lee Hyunmin came to the counter and patted Hana's head wanting her to relax and do a good job. He was very nice that Hana wished she gets to work there for a long time. She hoped she dont get fired like her old jobs because she was injured.

Her five hours shift ended and she went home with a heavy heart. She didnt want to work till so late at night because there are a lot of drunkyards on the sides of road so she walk careful of her surroundings.

But to Hana's dismay, one drunk man started approaching her and she started putting her hands in her bag looking for a pepper spray she kept just in case. But she couldnt found them among many books and stuffs she kept in her back. She started to run but the drunk man follows.

"Stop there young lady"
But Hana keeps on running. Her legs were almost giving up. Only if she has been eating more, she would have more energy to escape a situation like this.

"stooop"
He shouted again getting close to her. The valley was quiet and no one seems to even notice a drunkman chasing a school girl.

But there was person who did, he ran and grap the man on his clothes neck from the back.

"Its not nice to chase a girl like that Ahjussi"
"Who the fuck are you?"

The drunkman started stumbing when the guy who saves Hana started to beat him up since the drunkman started it. Hana who stopped running watches from afar covering her body and shivering because of the cold.

The drunkman ranaway when the guy had enough of beating him. He approach Hana who widens her eyes.

"Are you okay Miss?"
"Ye..."
"Wait! Lee Hana?"

The man muffle a laugh and walks closer to her, his concern with her instantly stopped and snarled in a disgusting tone

"Was that a client of yours? I'm sorry I disturbed you"
He started pulling out his phone, probably about to report what he had just witness to his friends.

"Thank you Seonghwa"
Hana says to much Seonghwa's surprise. He may talks dirty to her all he wants but she was just glad that he saved her from the drunkman.

"That I chase your client away haha?"
Seonghwa laugh awkwardly and look at her all confuse.

"You may not know what you did just now saved my life but I owe you a gratitude"
Hana bowed and took a step back slowly before turning around and walking slowly.

"Wait Hana!"
Seonghwa ran up to her giving her a confuse look.

"Why are you doing this? Having dirty jobs when your father is a rich CEO. You can already get anything you want"
Hana smiles at him lightly. Oh how her life was twisted with just one tongue. She cannot blame him for all he know was some story from Hana's step sister.

"I only did what I have to do to survive. I'm doing this for my freedom...

...I'm only trying to breakfree"
