Chapter 14

"Are you saying the Choi Group wants us to take up their case?"

"Yes, not only that, they wants to sign contract with us"

"Waaa daebak! We have finally succeeded"

Semi and her team were in their room discussing about their upcoming case. And apparently one of the most biggest Group has agreed to team up with them which could raised their fame and income as well.

But the sad part is that they'll be assign to a new team and Semi has grown attached to her teammate so much already that she was feeling sad but happy on the other side they could finally became a team leader too.

There was nothing else to do other than doing the paper work so Semi had another thought and decided to head to a recording room. New and old files were kept until they are twenty years old so she came upon a section happening ten years ago.

She open one file and read the profile

She heard some noise approaching so she closed the file and placed them in its original place before bending and hiding herself. After the person left, Semi came out silently and went out as if nothing happened and went back to her room again.

The next morning, Daeho Academy were supposed to meet up with the representative of the Choi Group in order to discuss about their joint resolution so Semi's group and another important people were present in front of the building and waited for their arrival.

They arrive in a couple of minutes and the person came with what seems to be his bodyguards or co-workers which Semi cannot make out.

The Chairman of Daeho Academy shook hands as he patted his shoulder taking about how much he has grown. Semi stayed quietly but she really needed to go the toilet but not wanting to seem rude, she just stayed put.

Even after ten minutes of talking in front of the building, the chairman who is too talkative cannot finish talking about how handsome the son of the Choi Group's CEO, who has come as a representative is.

Semi couldnt hold it anymore so she nudges Sohee's arm and whisper that she needed to go so she turns around and twisted her foot lightly and welp which earn the attention of the Choi's son.

He looks at Semi's direction and Semi did too unconciously. She bowed apologizing inaudibly and left in a hurry while on the other hand, the Choi's did not concentrate on the Chairman of Daeho Group anymore, he knitted his eyebrows together and continue thinking about the woman he just saw. He felt familiar wave hitting him although he couldnt point out however it was cut off by the Chairman as he finally invited him inside.

He followed the Chairman to the meeting room and sigh in relieve when they finally started discussing. He was starting to get irritated as they are not getting to the point but the door opening got his attention as he look up at the same woman from the morning again.

She quietly sat down at the last row a bit further from him and he cannot help but turns his gaze at her again. The Chairman seems to notice this as he cleared his throat.

"Mr. Choi, that is Lim Semi. Maybe you've heard of her she is the ace in our department. She will be the leading Prosecutor during our bussiness partnership. And Prosecutor Lim, this man right here is the son of the Choi Group, his name is Choi San. I'm looking forward to our bussiness which will be lead by one of the best in the bussiness industry".

And the Chairman continue on while Semi tried to list down everything he said. She also feels that it was a really great opportunity however she couldnt help but get disturb when the Choi's Group son, Choi San keep glancing at her.

She was profusely disturb as all he did during the meeting was nothing but glaring at her.
