"Hana-ah even if you feel like the world treats you unfair and even if the sky fell down on you, always remember that there are always someone who had it worst than you".

"But mom, isnt that too much? I should be angry if that happens to me"

"I know child, but when you grow up, you'll understand why I'm saying this. Even if you think no one is by your side and that you have no one else, if you want to give up in those times, always remember that if you can survive those moments you'll meet someone amazing in your future that is waiting for you all along".

"Does that means I will meet someone special after a hard time?"

"You would, or you might have already met them even before the drought, rowing the boat between the tough waves but in a different location than you".

Semi woke up to a ringing tone of her phone. She wipe away her tears and whimper a little. It has been so long since she last saw her mother in her dreams telling her about the harsh reality of the world that she herself has experienced.

"Hello"
She answered with a hoarse voice, she just woke up so its normal for her.

"Did you just woke up? Young lady you're so fucked up right now. Head director is looking for you and you're supposed to be in the office 2 hours ago"

"SHIT!"

She hung up and clean herself and ran outside without even bothering to apply make up. She slept in again for the 3rd time in a week and she cant help but blame Hongjoong for always calling her till late at night.

Her teammate give her a disappointing look and she only stuck her tongue out at them. Childish

"So what did the director says?"
Yeosang ask her as soon as she settle down.

"Another pile of files filled with cases what do you expect?",
she rolled her eyes at them and Yeosang threw his pen and watch the ceiling feeling depressed. Only Yunho seems energize as he take all the papers from Semi's table and took in his own.

"What breakfast did Mrs Jeong feed you?"
Semi watch her with her mouth wide open. Never will she get ever half the energy of Yunho have.

"Didnt you say you were going to the prison to see the dischargement of Jung Wooyoung?"
Yunho give her a confused look and she facepalm. She forgot she promised to accompany the boys to wait for him.

It has been almost a year and half and everything runs smoothly since. She learn to feel emotions again and let more people enter her life. She felt closer to the boys who once used to bully her in high school, its been ages and it would be a waste to live with full of grudges throughout her whole life, Semi knew that and tries to learn to forgive and forget.

Besides, everything must have happened for the best. She's trying to convince herself that way ever since she started her new life. And it seems to work for her because she started living her life without further consentment.

Her father dissapeared right after being discharged as soon as it was proven he was not guilty, he must still be ashamed of himself that he cut all contacts with Semi and she doesnt care at all, although she wanted to see him off for the last time. The mystery of the two girls that died were also a concidence, the first person tripped on a wet floor and the second person after seeing a spider, touché. Semi just make used of the situation to her advantage, no hard feelings.

She met Hongjoong on the way and he intertwine their fingers. Semi blush and tried to pull away.

"This is too childish"
She grit her teeth but couldnt break free from his grip.

"Cant I show everyone how pretty my girlfriend is?"

"I'm not your girlfriend"

"Yeah keep convincing that yourself"

"I'll kill you Hongjoong"

"I will happily die in your arms then"

She give up and glare at him, he look back down and smile so warmly that it hurts to glare a person that is literally shining and glowing even in daylight.

He bop their nose and steal kisses until they reach the prison, Mingi already there with a tofu waiting to shove them down their bestfriend's throat.

"Are you ready?"
Hongjoong whisper close to her face and she pinch him, hard until he screams out.

"More than you'll ever be"

So after a couple of minutes, they heard loud shriek followed by a muffle whose loud ass mouth was covered by a giant tofu.
