Chapter 13

"The suspect Kang Yena hit my client with a hammer but luckily it was bland and my client was able to survive. Your honor, I request for a harsh punishment to be held upon her beside..."

The court was in chaos, people started gossiping and the Suspect was close to tears. The defending attorney kept on going with his words yet the prosecutor in-charge was sitting in cross legged as she rolled her eyes.

After the judge wrote down everything, the prosecutor stood up.

"Are you done with your fantasy?", she mocked the attorney who was about to curse in return until the judge ordered him to sit back down.

"Your honor, may I speak?", after getting a permission she continue,
"The Victim Jang Hyewon is a make up artist and it is true they were arguing in the shop that day on the 25th of March as the CCTV recorded. They moved places after fighting and thats how the CCTV could not record out of place and the Victim was send to a Hospital a few hours later. However the wound on the Victim's head as per recorded here in the medical certificate is 7th of february which is more than a month ago. Your honor, I would like you to punish Jang Hyewon for stealing my client Kang Yena's documents and for forging a fake medical certificate"

"Prosecutor Lim, what are you talking about?"

"The wound currently visible on Jang Hyewon's head is fake, if you want to see them, take off her bandage and you can see that it is just make up, her professions"

The attorney ordered to remove it and see that it was actually fake as his head fell in shame.

Everyone escaped the court after the judge had announced that Kang Yena, the Suspect was relieved of charging as attempted murder while the Victim Jang Hyewon was charged instead.

"Congratulations you yet won again another case Prosecutor Lim"

"Attorney Lee you aint bad yourself. Just a little more evidence and you could have won against me"

They shook hands, no hatred between them, just pure bussiness and parted ways.

Lim Semi is a 27 years old Prosecutor in Daeho Academy, making her the ace as she never lose against a case. She was like the fountain of the Academy and is the head Prosecutor, admired and look up to by everyone.

As soon as she enter her office, her team was cheering on her and eventhough she was the head, she was younger than everyone else. She was just lucky to have been blessed with a clever mind or should we say, gifted.

"Lets go to eat, I'm hungry Prosecutor Lim"

"Yeah me too"

"Me too"

And so they agreed to take a break for lunch and went to a nearby restaurant.

"Since we won again today, how about my treat?",
Semi suggested and the elders cheers in joy, happy to get the free foods.

It was normal for them. Eventhough they are co-workers, they are like friends, brothers and sister to Semi. Her team consisted of four people with her included. Moon Heejun, her senior advisor, Kim Yoonsik, a guy two years older than Semi and the closest to her age and Na Sohee, the woman who is like an elder sister to her.

She feels awkward at times knowing she is the youngest and requested many times for her teammate to have a team of their own since they are already seniors in the Academy eventhough she really love their company, she cant help but think about for their well-being as well.

The men finished first and went before them since they have some investigations to do.

Sohee was eating calmly when Semi ask her carefully
