Chapter 24

"I dont know how long can I take this, Mom! I'm scared!"

"Hush child! Nothing will happen to you"

"It already killed two of my friends!"

"Should we go to the Police then?"

"NO! WE CANT! They will arrest me!"

"Why will they do that when you are the one being blackmailed here?"

"Because.....because...because....I cant okay?"

The younger balls up in the corner of her bed. There was a paper in front of her written in blood. Her friends' blood precisely.

'Confess your sin
and I will let you
live'

She hug her knees and cried. She knew her sin too well but she is scared of the outcome and besides, that case was already forgotten and closed, or so she thought.

After 10 years of living her life the best she can, the thing she scared the most in her life returned in flesh and decided to tear her apart step by step.

Just like she did to them

Hongjoong woke up with the headache he never had for a long time. He stopped drinking 5 years ago when he decided to move on and start a new life. He already lost one of the most important person in his life and he was about to lose yet another again.

He took a medicine and drink some hangover soup before walking towards Daeho Academy. He dont know why he went but he was hoping atleast the woman he was about to meet will agree to help him.

He arrived a little early and headed to the cafe to get some breakfast. Then he saw Semi already arriving as well, sitting on a table with a man sitting opposite to her. He pace towards her but stop in his tracks when he see who was the person sitting with her.

'Choi San?'
He was confused at first and was still confuse now. He saw him before too when they were having dinner, acting all too lovey-dovey with Semi. It occurs to him if it didnt bother San with the fact that Semi physically has the same resemblance that they once loved. He knew and was aware of the fact that San liked his girlfriend too when they were dating back in High school.

And he was shook when San instantly joined in bullying her too when he liked her but the fact that he was okay with hanging out with a girl that has the same face they were fighting for, it amuses him. But was it only the physical appearance that they fight for or was it the heart?

He shook it off and decides to head to the office first. He was met with a very confuse Yunho and Yeosang as they look up from their papers.

"Oh you came?", Yunho ask and Hongjoong only nod at them.

"I'll be waiting for Prosecutor Lim, you guys dont have to mind me"

And so they did. Hongjoong quietly sit and watches the two looking through papers to papers.

"Can I ask you guys a questions?", Hongjoong blurted out.

"You just did", Yeosang says as Yunho ask him not to. He was just born to be blunted and it came out as impolite sometimes.

"Sure go ahead", Yunho assure him.

"How well do you guys know Prosecutor Lim?"

It brightens Yunho. He had always admire her so he break into a wide smile and clasp his hands.

"Have you heard of a Raindrop Prosecutor? No right? So just like the rain which fell until they landed and touch the ground or something, Lim Semi never stops until she came to the buttom of everything she do. Thats why she is popular and a role model to many junior Prosecutors. She works when no one even dare suspect a thing and like how the water is transparent, you can see through her work like an open book. What I mean is, she always solve everything even if they are untouchable or unbreakable. She never gives up"
