When Hana was thrown into the river, she lost breathe and panic. Her wounds were weakening her and she slowly closed her eyes preaparing for the end.
'Dont give up my love'
She hear her mother's voice in her head and jerked awake in the water and swam with all her might. She came out of the water and breath and swam to the surface and pass out.
She was found on the outskirt of the village by some workers and they brought her to a nearby hospital since the city was a bit far and she could have died on the way.
She was treated on the hospital there for about a month while her mental state could not recover. They refer her to a psychiatrist and one day while she was having a therapy, a boy bursted inside the hospital room.
"Dad do you know where mom went?"
"Oh! She went on a sudden trip while you were in detention and told me to tell you"
"Ah okay! Patient?"
He ask and gesture to a girl sleeping on the corner. His father nodded and told him to go and give her a cup of water to the girl.
He went with the cup and drop making the glass crashed in pieces, jolting the girl awake.
He couldnt speak, couldnt move and doesnt even hear his father scolding him from the back.
Hana watches him in fear and hug herself in the corner.
"Please dont hurt Hana, she did nothing wrong",
Hana cried and beg him while the boy watches her with tears in his eyes.
"Hey hey! Hana I'm not going to hurt you look! I wont do anything to you I promise!"
He step towards her and embrace her patting her head and whisper nothing but encouragement in her ears.
"Protect me Seonghwa, protect me from those devils"
"I will! I will never let them hurt you again"
Semi enter the office the next day and Yeosang eyed her worriedly. It was the day before she will stand in the court, begging mercy for someone who ruined Hana's life.
"I'm going to go meet my client"
She says with a faint smile.
"Semi, let me just take this case",
Yeosang pleaded standing up from his seat and walk towards her table. Yunho giving them hawkeyes like he's some sherlock and nodded understandingly.
"I said I'm fine Yeosang! Why dont you just trust me and just leave me alone?",
Semi shouted losing her patient and glare at Yeosang.
Yeosang's eyes softened and return to glaring in a second and shouted back,
"You're not fine Semi! I know what Seo Eunhye is to you and I know how difficult it must be for you to defend her!"
Yunho in the corner pack up his bag and bend down as he make his way towards the door without them noticing,
"Couple fights!"
He whisper and walk out the door.
"You're wrong Yeosang"
"Why?"
"I want to defend Seo Eunhye no matter what. Even if I have to crawl in the hell and drag her out, I will. I will save her from this case and make her innocent no matter what"
"Why would you do that? Let her just get punished. It will be a payback for what she did to Hana"
"So you heard the story?"
"Semi please, just let this go"
"I wont! I will never forgive her! Even if she beg for her life like Hana did, I will not spare her. I will punish her with my own hands. I will save her from this case because she doesnt deserve to be punished just because of this. This is nothing compared to what she did before. I will send her in prison for the rest of her life for what she did. If she is consider guilty now, they will send her in prison for two or three years and everyone will forget about it. I will send her myself after I gather all of my evidence...
