Ring Ring Ring

"Hello"

"Hi its me San"

"Oh hey San! What's up?"

"Are you on your way?"

"Yes I am! Why?"

"Can you come to the Academy Cafeteria? I have something to show you"

"Ah okay"

Semi quickly hop off the car and made her way to the cafeteria, she saw San sitting on one of table and made her way towards him.

San quickly spots her and she took a seat oposite of him.

"What's up?", she ask again

"Do you know why the higher authority closed the case?"

"No why?"

"They were paid by one company which hasnt been active for a very long time. Everyone thought they already went bankrupt after what happened but they proved us wrong. I dont know why they do it but I'm sure it has something to do with Lee Hana's death ten years ago"

"What do you mean?"

"The one behind it is Hala Group and their former CEO is Lee Hana's father. I dont know who inherit the company because her father went to prison 10 years ago and I'm sure he didnt give them to his ex wife either"

"Wow thats a lot to sink in again. This Lee Hana's case is more serious than I thought"

"You bet it did. Everything went downhill from there"

"So what are we going to do now?"

"I will look through Hala Company and you just do your work. I just wanted to tell you these"

"Thanks San, for caring about me. Oh! I gotta go by the way, Hongjoong wanted to meet me"

"Hongjoong? The case is closed what does he have to do with you?"

"I dont know, let me go and find out'

San watches her body dissapearing and call someone

"Watch her close"

Semi made her way back to the office and by the time she reach there, she hears people talking from the inside and think that it must be the boys chatting. Then she heard something which stops her in her track,

"She never give up"

She smirk, she knew they were talking about her and her guess is the chatter box Yunho telling stories about her to his friends again.

She knock the door letting them know she has arrived and their chatter quickly dies down as she enter and saw that Hongjoong was there as well.
She greeted her two teammates and motion for Hongjoong to follow him out.

They stop on a quiet alley and decided to talk there.

"Look, before you misunderstand anything, I'm asking for help only because I care about Wooyoung okay?"

Semi clench her fist and smile at him

"Sure, go ahead"

"Are you really planning on stopping the case? Wooyoung cant be punished when we know he is innocent. This is not fair for him besides its your duty to defend an innocent citizens and sent the villain to prisons arent you?"

"Are you deaf?"

"Huh?", Hongjoong look at the girl in confusion.

"I said are you deaf? Didnt Yunho tell you I never give up?"

"You mean..."

"Yes Hongjoong, you can stop lecturing me when I didnt even plan on stopping the investigation in the first place"

Hongjoong smiled and out of happiness he hug the girl who widen her eyes in shock.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry", Hongjoong pulls away and quickly apologize before bowing at her multiple times.

"Its okay"

She assure him and they parted ways. Hongjoong went back to his station and Semi at her office.

When she walk back, she could feel her heart beating rapidly and she fears, fear that she might have a slight feelings for him and she hated that. She clench her fist out of anger making her palms bleed with her nails.

"You cant fall for him Semi. You have to remember what he did to Hana"
