Chapter 34

When Hana was bleeding cold on the floor she heard voices but couldnt get up nor put her head up but even in that state she could not mistaken her step sister's voice telling them to throw her in the river. She couldnt move or do anything so she couldnt fight back. Her eyes were opening slightly and was met with someone she used to know as one of the love of her life's friend.

Jung Wooyoung

He was standing there watching the girls throwing her on the river as he made no effort in stopping them. They all smells of alcohol reek and some girls started laughing. Wooyoung went to the edge and watch the girl struggling to swim out of the water after slowly disapeapring inside and felt his heart pang at the scene but he was too drunk and couldnt just jump inside the water to save her or he'd lose his life too so he followed the girls back to the car with a pang of guilt and regret that will forever chase him for the rest of his life.

Wooyoung gasp for air and stood up. He still remembered everything like it happened just yesterday. His sideburns were forming sweats and his palms were white from clutching them so hard. He thought about what Semi said and grab his face and release a huge sigh. He needed to meet his friends and tell them everything but seeing that the clock strike pass midnight and theres no way the guards will let him meet them now he tries going back to sleep bur make sure to request for a visit as soon as he wake up.

"Are you up for a date tonight?",
Semi heard someone calling her from the corner of the floor as she enter the elevator. San following her close enough so that the elevator wont close on him.

"I would love to but I have a case coming up and I dont know if I could make it San",
Semi sigh and check her messages. She open one which she barely gets messages from and widen her eyes.

"And I think I have a guest anyways",
She sigh one more time again and glance at San who only shook his head assuring her that it was fine.

"What are you doing in the building though?",
Semi ask her and San just smile at her before positioning his specs he wore.

"I'm meeting Yeosang and I also have a news for your team!",
He beem brightly and Semi hope that it was a good news seeing the bright smile on his face.

Semi and San enter their office together earning another teasing look from Yunho. Yeosang acts normal and San stood in front of the team before smiling widely at them.

"The director had made an announcement to make your team a permanent group",
he cheers and the three widen their eyes before Yunho started clapping and hugging his friends. To say that Semi and Yeosang arent happy would be a lie. Deep down they are glad too because they just became close and it would be a waste if they were to depart so soon.

"And Yeosang, can we talk?",
The elder nodded and follow him out.

Semi took her phone out and dial someone.

"Lets meet tonight"

Then she ended the call and return to her work and Yeosang came back in a few minutes later.

That evening, Semi enter the court and defend Seo Eunhye with all her might even making up a lie like she never did before all because she could give her the punishment she deserves.

Seo Eunhye was set free as she was not found guilty but it was the beginning for Semi as she smirk while walking away.
