Trisha's POV

"By the way here's your phone" Bryle glanced at me and he waved my phone that he's holding as I was spacing out.

"Oh sorry, I'm just really troubled, sorry for dragging you into this too, ako na bahala if ever Dad thinks you kidnapped me or something" then he gave a small laugh, "I have a feeling something serious happened"

"Yeah" That was all I could say because I'm exhausted, overthinking for hours in this long ass ride made my head ache "Where are we going by the way?" I managed to calm myself down and breathe a lot more better now. I still can't believe half of my childhood just went back to me today, and it's not even everything yet, I still don't know how Kyle, Abby, Crystal and I were friends back then and I kinda understand now why they want to hide this memory from me. As if they could control my mind, tch.

"I figured you need some air so I drove straight to Baguio" He said without looking at me. I was taken aback by his statement "That's too far! We could just stop here somewhere" and then I realized, we're on a highway.

"Haha, okay later. But my family has a hotel in Baguio, we can stay there and you can hide there as long as you want. I figured you're running away from your family.... Did I assume wrong?" Puro tawa pa sya, wow this guy talaga, he did not just take me and my situation seriously did he?

"I guess that's fine with me" I avoided eye contact since I was too shy to accept his offer. His offer is actually convincing, I could stay there for a few days until my Dad and Tita's spied track me down. I can have at least 2 days considering Baguio is way far from Manila.

"Pero sabi mo diba we'll stop somewhere here?"

"I take that back" He's really teasing me. "You're making me more annoyed now."

"Ayaw mo yun nakakalimutan mo problema mo hahaha" Nahampas ko tuloy sya. Bryle's actually a good company, and beneficial pa at that.

Jacob's POV

"I lost them" Fuck!! Shit!! Yung gagong Bryle na yon!

"Have any ideas where she's headed to?"

"It's north somewhere north"

"We'll check Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac and other north contacts you can go home now Jacob"

"Yes tita, call me if anything appears"

"Okay Jacob. You did well" tita Venice said as she quickly hung up on me.

god i'm so frustrated. Yung gagong Bryne na yon, nakita nya ko and he intentionally misled me that fucker! And Trisha! Wow where did Trisha's guts to trust that guy came from! I'm so pissed right now.

I felt my phone ringing and saw Crystal's caller ID.

I just let the ringing end. Hindi ko sila kayang kausapin ngayon fuck. Trisha remembered everything pero pano nya nalamang alam ko? She purposedly avoided me. And now she's gone missing by with that brute Bryne. I had a gut he's not just a normal friend or classmate even. I can feel his intentions strongly. May masama syang balak kay Trisha and I just can't pinpoint what.

He doesn't seem the type to rape Trisha, wala din sa mata nya na gusto nyang patayin si Trisha but I have a feeling na hindi din maganda ang intension nya kay Trisha lalo na nung bigla na lang sya sumulpot sa harap ng bahay ni Trisha.

"Jacob!" I'm now back at the headquarter in case a tip comes in, hindi ako makakatulog ng hindi naghahanap si Trisha. My guts can't trust that guy, and they can't either.
