Daniel took Phoenix to the lobby which was normally empty during rehearsals. Today, Rebecca was in there. Rebecca has done theater at Wonderlust Theater for forever but she got too old. She was homeschooled and decided to help out at the theater whenever she could.
"Hey, shouldn't you guys be in rehearsal?" Rebecca asked.
"Yeah. I just needed to tell her something and it couldn't wait. Can we have privacy please?" Daniel asked.
"Yeah sure. I'm going down to Wonderlust Restaurant anyways." Rebecca smiled.
Daniel made sure that Rebecca was gone.
"Okay now what did you want to tell me? I'm kind of missing the rehearsal." Phoenix grinned.
"Yeah sorry. My mom and dad told me last night that it's Florida time." Daniel grimaced.
"What?" Phoenix whispered.
"Jack and I are trying to get them to realize that we're fine here, but they're set on their decision." Daniel sighed. Jack was Daniel's younger brother.
"When? How long?" Phoenix worried.
"Three weeks. Then they're taking me with them whether I like it or not." Daniel couldn't meet Phoenix's eyes.
"No. No I can't let this happen. Wonderlust Restaurant. After rehearsal." Phoenix told Daniel.
"Okay." Daniel nodded.
After rehearsal, Phoenix took Daniel to Wonderlust Restaurant and Daniel was horrified. So many people were sitting in the back booth where Phoenix was leading him.
"Why are all of these people here?" Daniel whispered.
"I figured they could help. They all have worldly knowledge." Phoenix mumbled.
Kris, Mimi, Eric, Crystal, Tanner, and a very annoyed Quinn were sitting in the booth. Phoenix sat down next to Quinn and Daniel.
"Hey guys." Mimi waved. Tanner waved back.
"What's up?" Eric asked. Apparently no one had any idea why they were called.
"Daniel needs our help." Phoenix started.
"Shh. I can handle it Phoenix." Daniel got up and left the booth.
"Daniel! I'm just trying to help!" Phoenix called after him. Phoenix left.
"Okay, so does anyone know why we're here?" Quinn asked.
"No, but knowing Phoenix, we could be here for a while." Mimi sighed.
"Well, it's a good thing I ordered fries." Quinn laughed.
Phoenix ran after Daniel who was picking up his pace.
"Daniel you have asthma! Don't walk too fast without your inhaler." Phoenix ran.
"Oh, so now you care about me?" Daniel stopped.
"Yes, I always care about you. What's up with you?" Phoenix asked.
"I'm leaving Phoenix. I have three weeks until I'm out of here. Those people aren't my friends! Kris, and you are my friends. Not Eric, or Mimi. And especially not Quinn. You don't know me at all." Daniel started to walk away.
"No, I do know you. These are my friends and even though they may not like you as much as I do, they love me and they will help me help you." Phoenix explained.
"That's beside the point. I came to you because I trust you and only you. Listen, I don't want to fight. I'm going to walk away. I'll call you later." Daniel left.
Phoenix stood there. "Crap."
