Once everyone had pulled up to the mayor's office everyone got out of their cars and met in the middle of the three cars.

"One group is going to be responsible for the petition. Getting as many people to sign it as you can." Quinn explained. "That will be your group." Quinn pointed at Mona and Elle.

"The next group will be in charge of the press. Convince the people who work for the newspaper to let us write an article about our sob stories." Eric rolled his eyes. "That's your group." Eric pointed at Rebecca and Henry.

"Our group will confront my dad. Everyone got it?" Quinn asked. Everyone nodded. "Okay, bye. Keep us updated."

Quinn's group marched towards the office. Mr. Rembarc met them on the lawn.

"Quinn? Others... what are you doing here?" Mr. Rembarc straightened his tie.

"Ummm.." Quinn's mouth got dry. Eric looked over at Quinn.

"Mr. Rembarc my name is Eric. We have something that we'd like to bring to your attention." Eric finished for Quinn.

"What would that be?" Mr. Rembarc asked.

"Dad, why are you closing down the theater? People are unhappy about this. If you choose to do this, we're making a petition, and going to have people sign it. You have been trying to make things better for me my whole life! News flash: you're making things worse. This theater, these people, they are my home. They are my true family. I love everyone there. You are not ruining that for me! Also, I'm dating Eric!" Quinn added.

"That's a lot of information to take in." Mr. Rembarc rubbed his head.

"Well she's right." Phoenix nodded. "Mr. Rembarc, you have known me, Mimi, and Kris since your daughter was in first grade. You know we're good people, and you know how happy this theater makes her. So why are you shutting it down?"

"Because! I am the mayor, I think it is best, I don't like how my daughter spends time with this boy, and it is best for the town." Mr. Rembarc barked.

"What was that one thing?" Kris asked.

"It's best for the town." Mr. Rembarc rubbed the back of his neck.

"No the one before it." Mimi inquired.

"Oh. I didn't mean to say that one." Mr. Rembarc turned red.

"Dad, it's okay. Me and Eric are together. So what? It's not a big deal. I will always be your daughter. Taking away something I love isn't going to stop me from being with Eric." Quinn explained to her father.

Mr. Rembarc stared at his daughter. "Well then, unless you can get me 200 signatures from the town, you're out of luck."

"200? Mr. Rembarc there are hardly 200 people in the town!" Daniel cried.

"Well then you're just going to have to be persuasive." Mr. Rembarc winked at Quinn, and left the office.

Quinn stared at her dad with the most hatred that she had ever stared at anyone with.

"Alright you heard him. 200 names." Eric wiped his sweaty hands on his pants.

"You're just scared of her dad. This is unbelievable. There are 201 people in this town. If two people say no, then we're screwed." Mimi sighed.

"Not exactly. We count as citizens of this town. Someone text Elle and Rebecca. Tell them to meet us at Wonderlust Restaurant. I have a plan." Quinn grinned.

A couple minutes later everyone was seated in the back booth of Wonderlust Restaurant. Quinn started to talk. "As I said before, we all count as citizens of this town. Where's the petition?" Quinn asked Elle.

"Here." Elle reached into her bag and pulled out the worn petition.

"Everyone sign it." Quinn grabbed a pen from behind her ear. She signed first, and everyone else did as well. That was 16 signatures.

"I'm sure the rest of the people that go to Wonderlust Theater, and their parents, and the staff will be glad to sign too. We can do this. We just have to be persuasive." Quinn looked everyone in the eye.

"I'll take it to the staff." Henry suggested.

"Okay. When you're done meet us back here and we can each take turns going to our parents. Then any friends that go to the theater. It should work." Quinn gripped Eric's hand tightly under the table.

"It will work." Eric assured Quinn.

Once everyone had cleared out of the restaurant two hours later, Quinn pulled Phoenix and Eric aside.

"I can't go home. Not after my dad. Can I stay with one of you for a while?" Quinn asked.

"Yeah sure. You can always stay at-."

"My house. You already know my mom, and you'd be comfortable." Phoenix interrupted Eric.

"Yeah. Good idea." Eric nodded. "Make sure you still hang out with me." Eric widened his eyes at Quinn.

"I will." Quinn nodded.

"Alright bye." Eric kissed the top of Quinn's head. Quinn turned around on instinct.

"I love you! Bye." Quinn instantly went silent after she said it.

Eric looked thrown off guard. He suddenly became relaxed. "I love you too." Eric smiled.

Quinn and Phoenix walked back to Phoenix's house, and Quinn didn't say a word.
