BAM!
Everyone had woken up with a start. No one had seen it coming. To think that Billy, the scrawny kid from Wonderlust Records would be busting down the door of Eric's house with a machine gun in his hand was crazy.
But it happened.
Eric woke up first when he heard footsteps coming from outside of the house.
"Quinn. Quinn! Wake up!" Eric shook Quinn.
"What the hell?" Quinn asked groggily.
"Someone's trying to break in." Eric pulled Quinn out of the room. They woke everyone up, and they started to pile things against the entrances.
"Who could it be? Alice and Daniel are in the cage. Right?" Phoenix asked as she plopped a chair in front of the back door.
"Oh my god." Quinn's eyes widened.
"What?" Phoenix asked.
"Billy." Quinn realized.
"Oh crap we forgot about him." Mimi face palmed.
Everyone sat in the basement waiting for Billy to get through one door. Sure enough he did.
"Go, go! Everyone through the trap door!" Eric whispered as loud as he could.
They all heard Billy marching a floor above them. They heard him go up the stairs where they had all been sleeping.
Quinn, Eric, and Phoenix helped everyone get through safely.
"Move people!" Mimi squeezed her way through Crystal and Manny.
"Go. Come on, we can make it." Quinn mumbled to herself as she kicked Mimi down the ladder. She was taking too long.
"Go." Eric told Quinn when Tanner had climbed down. Quinn climbed down, and Eric followed. Everyone had already started to run down the tunnel.
As Eric shut the trapdoor, he heard Billy start to descend the stairs to the basement.
"Run guys!" Eric shouted.
Everyone started to pick up their pace. No one heard Billy behind them. He didn't know about the door.
Kris was in front of the line. She wrenched the door open that led to Phoenix's house.
Everyone was safely inside the house. They had made it.
"Where's Eric and Quinn?" Phoenix asked when they had gotten inside her house.
"They were right behind me." Tanner panted.
Phoenix opened the door again that led to the tunnel, but it was empty. No Quinn. No Eric.
They were gone.
The next few minutes, everyone was in complete panic mode. No one ate, no one slept. It was chaos.
"What if Billy found the door and took them?" Mimi cried.
"I'm sure that didn't happen." Tanner assured her.
"They're probably just having fun somewhere in the tunnel." Kris rolled her eyes.
"They wouldn't do that when Billy was after us." Crystal pointed out.
"Billy must've took them." Ella sighed.
"Well, there's nothing we can do." Mona gave up.
