"Oh my god." Quinn swallowed. Phoenix looked away. She was fighting back tears.
As much as Phoenix didn't like to admit it, she had cared about her mom a great deal, and seeing her lifeless on the ground probably didn't help to remember that she and her mom hadn't been on the best terms before she had died.
"We have to call Mimi and Kris." Eric decided.
"They were probably taken by Daniel." Quinn avoided looking at Sasha.
"Why is no one talking about my mom? She's dead guys! What are we supposed to do?" Phoenix yelled.
"That's why we should call Mimi and Kris. Mimi loved Sasha and Kris is weird. She'll probably know about where to put your mom for the time being." Eric explained.
Phoenix reluctantly gave Mimi a call. She answered right away.
"Hello?" Mimi answered.
"Mimi, it's Phoenix. I need you to get to Eric's house right away." Phoenix said.
"Is everything okay?" Mimi asked.
"Just get over here. Right now." Phoenix didn't answer. "And bring Kris too."
She hung up.
"I'm so sorry Phoenix." Quinn tried to smile but couldn't. It was just too terrible.
"Yeah well, that's what we get for trusting Billy and Alice. I should've been watching them. Not my mom." Phoenix sat down on the couch.
"I wouldn't sit there." Eric scratched his head and looked away.
"Ugh! Guys you are so gross!" Phoenix jumped up.
A couple minutes later, Mimi and Kris showed up at the door.
"Hey guys." Phoenix greeted them sadly.
"Whoa, what's with the long face? Who died?" Mimi asked playfully.
"Come on." Phoenix sighed. Kris followed Phoenix into the basement and Mimi followed behind.
Mimi screamed. "No!!!!!" she collapsed. Mimi and Sasha had a special bond. Sasha was like a second mother to Mimi, and they were really close.
"Oh god, I'm really sorry Phoenix." Kris sighed. Kris wasn't very good at showing emotion even when something very emotional was happening right in front of her face.
"Thanks. We have other things to discuss." Phoenix sighed heavily and they all went upstairs leaving Mimi to sob beside Sasha's body.
"What kinds of things?" Kris asked.
"Oh you know, just saving Wonderlust from Phoenix's evil ex-boyfriend, saving all of our friends who have been kidnapped by that same evil-boyfriend, find Alice and Billy who killed Sasha and then ran away, get the theater up and running again which will be hard since Henry died, get a new mayor because my dad can't do anything right, have a funeral for Sasha, and then patch ourselves back up." Quinn listed.
Everyone stared at her in silence.
"Sorry but when something sad happens, I get sarcastic." Quinn threw herself into a chair by the kitchen table.
"Oh, and you're having a baby." Eric added.
"Wow thanks for reminding me Eric." Quinn glared at him.
