"Well, did you mean it?" Phoenix hang upside down from her bed looking at Quinn who was lying on the floor against the wall.

"I think so. I did. I think." Quinn grabbed a pillow and put it over her face. "Ugh! I don't know!!!"

"I get it. Daniel and I have been avoiding the L word. It's too soon. Right?" Phoenix sat up.

"I mean, Eric and I only became official a couple days ago." Quinn shrugged. "Oh my god. Now that I think about it, why did I say it? It was way too soon. I rushed it!"

"Well you two have had a thing for years." Phoenix pointed out.

"Years?" Quinn's ears grew red.

"Do you think none of us knew that you two weren't going to get something to eat? You were making out in the girl's bathroom. Come on, it was so obvious." Phoenix laughed.

"Oh." Quinn snickered.

Sasha passed the door. "Wait shh." Sasha told someone. "Phoenix is home."

Quinn peeked out the doorway and saw Sasha holding a man's tie. As she walked backwards, Miguel was clear to Quinn.

After the door shut, Phoenix ran next to Quinn. "Who was it?"

"Miguel." Quinn giggled.

"Ew. That guy makes me want to barf. He's 17!" Phoenix cried.

"Shhhh." Quinn laughed hysterically. Phoenix started to laugh, and they couldn't stop.

A couple hours later, Quinn and Phoenix were in Phoenix's bed in their usual positions. Phoenix slept normally to the right, and Quinn's head was by Phoenix's feet on the left.

"Hey Quinn?" Phoenix sat up.

"Yeah?" Quinn copied Phoenix in sitting up.

"Do you ever wonder if you're with the right people?" Phoenix asked.

"No. I know that Eric is the one. Why?" Quinn yawned.

"No reason. Just that lately I've been doubting myself." Phoenix shook her head.

"Well tomorrow is couple's day so just wait it out. Don't dump him yet." Quinn advised.

"I won't." Phoenix shook her head.

The next day Quinn and Phoenix got 'dressed up.' Quinn wore a red skater skirt with a white cropped sweater, and Phoenix wore ripped jeans and a black shirt tucked into her pants.

"You were supposed to dress nice." Sasha told Phoenix.

"This is nice!" Phoenix argued. "Just like your little thing with Miguel last night?"

"You heard that?" Sasha raised her eyebrows. Quinn had to go into the other room to stop herself from laughing.

As Phoenix and Sasha argued, Eric and Daniel pulled up. "Phoenix, the guys are here!"

"Quinn you look great. Here." Sasha handed Quinn her red sunglasses and Quinn closed the door behind her. Phoenix and Quinn went into the backseat.

"Uh no." Daniel got out of the passenger seat and climbed into the backseat.

Quinn rolled her eyes and switched with Daniel. Now she was sitting next to Eric. She couldn't meet his eyes.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Eric asked quietly as Phoenix and Daniel talked away.

"Nothing." Quinn shook her head. Eric nodded. Quinn could tell he knew she was lying.

Meanwhile in the backseat Daniel and Phoenix were talking loudly and comfortably with each other,

"So, hows your day been?" Daniel asked politely.

"Not so good so far. My mother hates me I think, and she's dating a 17 year old." Phoenix shook her head. Quinn heard this.

"Well it won't be illegal for long because in 4 months he'll be 18!" Quinn cried sarcastically.

"What does your mom see in him?" Eric asked.

"What does Quinn see in you?" Daniel shot back.

"Okay boys, lets change the topic to saving the theater. Update, we have 57 signatures out of the 200 we need." Quinn sighed.

"That means we still need 143 signatures." Phoenix said.

"Correct. I've been thinking how maybe we can get more people to sign. It's not going to be easy, but it might work." Quinn clenched her teeth.

"Well what is it?" Eric asked eagerly.

"It's also illegal." Quinn added.

"What?!" Daniel yelled.

"If we cover the petition saying to sign to save the theater with something else that the town wants. Like, adding more jobs to the community." Quinn shrugged.

"It might work." Phoenix nodded.

"But it's illegal. If we get caught, we go to jail." Daniel pointed out.

"How would we get caught?" Eric questioned.

"If your dad looks at the petition and then calls one of the people on it and sees that they signed for something different than saving the theater." Daniel raised his eyebrows.

"Okay. So that's a no." Quinn collapsed into her seat.

"Oh my god." Phoenix sat straight up. "Miguel is Mexican."

"Okay?" Eric squinted his eyes.

"Miguel has a bunch of family on both sides that live here in Wonderlust. If we can get all of his family to sign, we might lower our number by a lot." Phoenix explained.

"Alright. After our dates, we'll take a visit to Miguel and his family." Quinn nodded.
