The next morning, Quinn and Eric woke up to ten people knocking and banging on Eric's car.
"What the heck is going on?" Eric got out of his car. Quinn rolled over and got out on the other side.
"What is all this?" Eric demanded. Phoenix, Tanner, Crystal, Kris, Daniel, Mimi, Rebecca, Henry, Mona, and Elle were standing by the car. Mona was this chubby girl who used to be best friends with Kris, but got too toxic.
"Why would your dad do that?" Crystal pointed to a newspaper article.
"The theater was the only place we had!" Mona screamed.
"What's going on?" Quinn rubbed her eyes.
"I bet you had something to do with it." Mona sneered.
"Guys, come on. Let's be reasonable. Quinn couldn't have done anything because we were in my car all night." Eric explained.
"Did you guys have fun?" Mimi grinned.
"No, it wasn't like that." Eric shook his head.
"What are you even accusing me of?" Quinn turned to Mona.
"Shutting down Wonderlust Theater!" Mona grabbed Crystal's article and shoved it in Quinn's face.
Quinn and Eric read the article together and looked up at each other. "No. My dad knows how important this place is to me. He would never do that." Quinn shook her head.
"Well while you two were doing god knows what in that car, your father was stamping papers saying that Wonderlust Theater is closed." Daniel argued.
"Daniel, do we honestly think that Quinn has anything to do with this?" Phoenix asked.
"No." Daniel shook his head. Quinn sighed. "I know it."
"Guys, I love Wonderlust Theater as much as all of you. It was the one place that took me in when I moved here. It's where I met all of you. I would never do this. I need to take a visit to my dad. Anyone who wants to come is welcome. But as we learned from last night to anyone who was there, we can only fit six people." Quinn got into the passenger seat.
"Six?" Elle asked.
"I'll drive." Daniel caught the keys that Eric threw at him.
"Quinn and I will go in the passenger seat." Eric climbed into the passenger seat and slid under Quinn.
"Oh. Six." Elle nodded.
"I want to come." Mona started to get into the backseat.
"No one else has the guts to say this Mona, but you take up two seats and we're trying to get everyone in the car. Phoenix, me and Kris will go. We are the core four." Mimi pushed Mona out of the way and climbed into the car. Phoenix and Kris followed.
"Let's go." Daniel stepped on the gas and they were at the Mayor's Office in no time.
"I'll go in alone. I need to talk to my dad." Quinn got off of Eric's lap and started to walk into the office.
Once Quinn was gone, Mimi looked at Eric. "So did you guys do anything in here or?" Mimi questioned.
"No means no." Eric roared.
"They definitely did." Mimi nodded.
Quinn ran right into her dad's office.
"Quinn?" Mr. Rembarc jumped. "How did you know I would be visiting the mayor today?"
"You are the mayor dad. That's not what I'm concerned about. Why did you shut down the Wonderlust Theater? That's my home. That's where I feel the most safe." Quinn asked.
"For exactly that reason. That place is your home. You're never at your actual home. I shut it down so that we can spend more time together." Mr. Rembarc explained.
"No. I am never coming home. I will live in a car before I go back home." Quinn sobbed. "You took away the only good part of my life!"
"You think things are going well in there?" Kris asked from inside the car.
"Nope." Eric shook his head.
"Do you think she'll be okay?" Phoenix wondered.
"Nope." Eric shook his head.
"I did this for you." Mr. Rembarc added.
"I. Do. Not. Care who you did it for! I'm not coming home." Quinn looked her father in the eye. "I am not coming home until the Wonderlust Theater is up and running. No matter what I have to do."
She stormed out and got back into the car. "Are you okay?" Daniel asked.
"Drive the freaking car." Quinn said. Daniel stepped on it and they drove away.
"Where are we going?" Daniel stopped at a red light.
"My house." Phoenix suggested.
"Maybe then we can come up with a plan to get the Wonderlust Theater running again." Quinn turned to Phoenix.
Quinn looked out the window and didn't look away until they had gotten to Phoenix's house.
