Everyone was sleeping. Quinn had promised to come up with a foolproof plan, and tell them all as soon as she figured it out.
"Daniel will probably be waiting for us to make a move. He knows that we're our of the hospital, but he doesn't know about the secret passages unless Alice and Billy told them. That could be a problem." Quinn thought. "But, if me, Phoenix, and Eric go into the forest and make it look like we're trying to save everyone, Daniel could try to catch us. So we would be the distraction. After I give the signal which will be a text saying that he's on our trail, Mimi and Kris can sneak in through the forest using a different entrance and cut everyone loose or do whatever needs to be done to get everyone out of there."
"How's it going?"
"Jesus Eric! You scared the crap out of me." Quinn rubbed her eyes.
"You need to sleep." Eric sat down next to her. Quinn was sitting in the middle of the basement floor.
"No I'm fine. I promise. I almost have everything worked out." Quinn gestured to the many pieces of paper and maps laid out in front of her.
"What else do you need to figure out? Maybe I can help." Eric said.
"If Daniel and whoever is helping him are armed, how are we supposed to not get killed if we're going straight to him?" Quinn shuffled through some papers.
"Well your dad's the mayor. I bet he deals with people trying to shoot him all the time." Eric started.
"Yeah." Quinn raised her eyebrows.
"Maybe he can help. Maybe he has bulletproof vests or something like that." Eric suggested.
"You're a genius." Quinn realized.
"Finally you noticed." Eric rolled his eyes. Quinn laughed.
"We'll ask him on our way to the forest. But right now I need sleep." Quinn stood up.
"See? I know you better than you know yourself." Eric teased.
"Oh shut up." Quinn tried not to smile. "We need to get up early that way we have the whole day to figure things out. I think it's best if we go at night that way no one will be able to see us and Kris and Mimi will have a better cover..."
The sound of Quinn's voice faded away as she went up the stairs.
"What a girl." Eric sighed. He started to pick up some of Quinn's piles of papers.
The next morning everyone woke up at 5:00 in the morning. Mimi was not happy about this and almost punched Kris in the face when she woke her up.
"Now that we're all here and we're all well rested-."
"Not well rested. But continue." Mimi huffed.
"I came up with a plan last night. With a little help." Quinn winked at Eric.
"Okay. What is it?" Mimi asked.
Quinn explained the plan that she had talked about last night. Everyone listened. There were no interruptions.
"That's crazy. So crazy I think it'll work." Mimi nodded.
"Phew." Quinn sighed sarcastically. Mimi was the one difficult person in the group and they had her approval.
"When do we leave?" Phoenix asked.
"Tonight as soon as the sun sets." Quinn answered.
A couple minutes before they left, everyone got changed into what Mimi liked to call "Super Secret Spy Clothes."
Mimi was in the kitchen wearing black leather pants and a black tank top with a black jacket. She was standing on the table singing 'Out Tonight' from Rent.
"What are you wearing?" Phoenix asked.
"It reminds me of Mimi from Rent. I'm taking up my birthright." Mimi stopped singing.
Phoenix was wearing black fishnets with black shorts on top. She had a black t-shirt on and her hair was tied back.
"Mimi can you please get off the table?" Eric marched into the kitchen with Quinn right behind him.
Eric was wearing black sweatpants and a black t-shirt. His hair was the only bright thing about him.
Quinn was wearing a black hoodie and black thigh high boots. Her hair was in a high ponytail.
"Where's Kris?" Quinn asked.
"Here." Kris came out of the corner of the kitchen. She was wearing black jeans and a black sweater. She had a black beanie on. She didn't even have to change her clothes for this.
"We look great!" Mimi jumped down from the table.
"That's not the point. Let's go." Phoenix grabbed Kris who was still in the corner and they all headed for the front door.
"Is that Eric's hoodie?" Mimi winked at Quinn.
"Oh shut up." Quinn was glad it was so dark in the house that way Mimi couldn't see her blushing.
"Should we go over the plan one more time?" Eric asked as they were about to walk out.
"No. I was going over it all day." Mimi rubbed her head.
"Yes. It can't hurt to go over it one more time." Phoenix gave Mimi a dirty look.
They all listened to Phoenix go over the plan again and this time they went out of the door.
"How are you supposed to walk in those?" Eric gestured to Quinn's heels.
"A proper lady can walk in heels whenever it is necessary." Quinn lifted her head high and posed.
"Can we please focus here?" Mimi rolled her eyes.
"You were the one just dancing on the table." Quinn pointed out. They were walking quickly in the direction of the forest. They didn't even notice the fact that Alice and Billy were walking right behind them waiting for a chance to strike.
