Mimi and Kris haven't heard from Quinn or Phoenix in the past few days, and they were starting to get a little concerned.
"Listen, we need to find them. What if they are seriously injured?" Mimi asked.
"Who cares? They can do whatever they want." Kris waved Mimi away.
"I'm calling them." Mimi grabbed her phone.
"Fine." Kris shrugged.
Kris and Mimi walked into 7-11 and Mimi gasped. "Oh god, what now?"
"Look at this." Mimi pointed at the newspaper with Quinn's smiley face plastered on the front page.
"No way." Kris read the article.
"Tragic isn't it? A teen mom in Wonderlust. This town really is going downhill." the cashier shook his head.
"Yeah." Kris swallowed.
Mimi kept dialing Quinn's number, but there was still no answer. "Oh my god. She's avoiding us!"
"Let her do what she wants. She's probably overwhelmed with everything." Kris swallowed again.
"Let's go." Mimi handed a dollar to the man and took the newspaper.
Mimi and Kris got into Kris's car, and they went to the arcade. "The arcade is where her and Eric hangs out. Maybe they're there." Kris pulled into the parking lot and saw Eric's car.
"You were right." Mimi nodded.
Mimi and Kris walked to the arcade and saw Quinn and Eric sitting by the Galaga machine.
"Do you think he knows?" Mimi whispered.
"Duh, it's in the newspaper." Kris smacked Mimi's head. Mimi elbowed Kris across the room and Quinn looked up to see a flying Kris.
"Kris?" Quinn stood up.
"Hey!" Kris stood up. Mimi pushed Kris out of the way.
"Where have you been? Why haven't you answered us?" Mimi asked.
"I've been busy." Quinn gestured to the newspaper in Mimi's hand.
"Oh. Congratulations!" Mimi hugged Quinn.
Kris limped over to them. "Kris, are you okay?" Quinn asked.
"Fine. Thanks." Kris glanced at Mimi.
"Listen, we're kinda busy. Do you mind just giving us a little while to let us figure out what we're going to do? We have a lot to think about." Eric explained.
"Yeah. Sure. Well just give us a call." Mimi crunched the newspaper into a ball and threw it in a trash can.
Mimi and Kris sat down in Kris's car. "They get me so frustrated!" Mimi slammed the car door.
"Don't take it out on the car." Kris widened her eyes.
"I need someone. I'm lonely." Mimi sighed.
"Just ask the first guy you see. Or girl. I'm cool with that." Kris put her hands in the air.
"Okay. I can try that." Mimi nodded. When they got to Sasha's house Mimi saw Daniel on the front step.
"I'm going in." Mimi got out of the car.
"Single guy!" Kris whispered.
"Hey Daniel. Can I talk to you for a second?" Mimi twirled her hair.
"Okay?" Daniel let himself follow Mimi into Phoenix's backyard.
"I've been thinking about us lately. Our relationship." Mimi sat down on the table.
"What relationship?" Daniel questioned.
"That's the problem. You see, we connect." Mimi touched Daniel's hand. Daniel jerked away.
"Are you on drugs?" Daniel asked.
"No. Even if I was, what's the matter with that? I want to be with you." Mimi looked into Daniel's eyes.
"I came here to see Phoenix. Phoenix. My girlfriend. I'll pass on this one." Daniel patted Mimi's shoulder and ran away.
Mimi slouched and went back to Kris's car. Daniel was gone. "No luck. Let's go back to the arcade. Maybe there's some hot guys there."
"Okay." Kris pulled away and went back to the arcade.
Mimi went inside. "I'm staying in the car." Kris insisted. She only saw Eric but no Quinn.
"Where's Quinn?" Mimi asked.
"Oh, she went home. Had some stuff to take care of." Eric explained.
"Oh. In that case, you're hot." Mimi told Eric.
"Okay. Thanks Mimi. I'm gonna go." Eric tried to scoot past her.
"No. Come on. I know that you and Quinn are together and it's kinda serious-."
"We're having a child. Pretty serious."
"But can't you make an exception for me?" Mimi asked.
"No. Can I please just go?" Eric asked.
"Just stay." Mimi felt Eric's biceps.
"What are you doing?" Eric backed away.
"I'm lonely. I need someone. I happened to run into you." Mimi followed Eric. "Just say you love me."
"No. I'm gonna head out. Let's never speak of this." Eric walked out the door.
"Crap." Mimi walked out after him and into Kris's car.
"You did not talk to Eric." Kris face palmed.
"I still have one last person I would like to try my luck with." Mimi slouched.
"Where to?" Kris asked.
"This car." Mimi leaned over and kissed Kris.
"Whoa. What was that?" Kris pulled away.
"A kiss." Mimi shrugged.
"How high are you on a scale of 1-10?" Kris asked.
"0." Mimi kissed Kris again, but this time no one pulled away.
