The look on Taehyung's face tells you that you cannot speak to him at the moment. You however, try to make sense of his actions.

Maybe, yeah he kissed you and flirted with you once in a while.. but, this panic he's having for his wife's life shows that you don't stand a chance.

Irene? And you?

You go red in the face when you realize you're comparing yourself with her.
Taehyung stops the car in front of his office.

"Get out." He says. It's so rude that your heart is almost shattered.

Why does this man go on emotional rollercoaster rides alone? One moment he's joking around, flirting with you and the next he treats you like absolute trash?

You angrily huff as you snap the seatbelt open, hop out and slam the car door loudly in his face.

You can't see his face anyway, because of the black tinted windows so you just stand there awkwardly waiting for him to climb out.

You wonder if you should make a call to somebody, you're wondering what's going to happen to aunt Ara.

If he did say it's like dominoes..

First would be SanJi, then Jungkook's, Leena, Namjoon, Aunt Ara, Jisoo then Jimin and then Irene.

So you should be worried about SanJi. Taehyung can deal with his wife's safety.

You hate how life has turned out. You didn't imagine you'd be standing here today and wondering who will die next and where.

Taehyung parks his car and walks to you. You can't help but admire the model like gait he has, it makes you silence your mind yet again and remind your heart he's taken.

All this time, he was toying with you.

But, with each passing minute and each silent step, you feel yourself getting sucked into this vortex of uncontrollable attraction and need for Taehyung.

"Where can Ara possibly store the research papers?" He asks when he gets to your side.

That strange rebellious adamancy of human beings to want the exact same thing that they know they can never have.

"Huh?" You blankly blink at him.

He sighs as he pulls out his phone.

After a minute of silence, he exhales in relief, "Dr. Jin.. he's back." Taehyung's jaw is clenched in a way that makes you wonder if there's some unspoken hatred between him and Dr. Jin. But, as far as you remember, Dr. Jin sounded very supportive of V back then when he was speaking to your father about his ambitions.

You're putting two and two together.

You saw Jin at the restaurant with Irene..

Is Irene a psychologist too? Has she known about you and Dr. Kim?

How else can you explain her mysterious hospitality and generosity towards you and your brother?

You can't tell who is connected to who, but right now you don't know if you should be worried about that.

You wait in the lobby in silence as you watch him pace the floor with absolute impatience. You have such little time left.
