"Excuse me? Patient 04? Lilacaine Andreah Samson? Proceed na po kayo sa room."

I was wandering around this plain white hallway. I must say, A hospital. There are Ten people around. Sitting pretty on a grey large couch. Not minding what will the doctor said. It's daily check up, By the way.

I'm wearing a Forever 21 crop top, Forever 21 Highwaisted short and I also wear my Boots from Forever 21. Sponsored? Bitch, No.

I look at the nurse, I guess, I stood up and Walked with confidence. Chin up, Chest out, Lady walk and my gucci bag was hanging on my arm. I fixed my sunnies on my head, alam kong wala namang araw sa loob ng hospital. This is fashion.

The assistant opened the door for me. I saw there an old man sitting on a chair looking so stressed, He's reading on a folder, Which I assumed my documents.

Dr. Fernando, My doctor ever since I was young. Age of 14 to be exact. Six years and sawa na ako sa face niya.

He looked at me. Gesturing me to sit down, I did.

"Hey Doc, It's you again. Sawa na 'ko sa face mo." I teased as I sat.

We're close kind of, who wouldn't? It's been 6 years since he was assigned to be my doctor. He doesn't know anything about me though, I don't tell anyone what happened to my life. Basta ang role niya lang dito ay ang maging doctor ko. Resetahan ako ng gamot, Tell me what to do, what should I eat, and the rest? Nothing.

"Good Afternoon Lilac, it's been 4 months since you went here. Didn't I tell you to come here once a month?" He eyed at me.

I rolled my eyes. "For what pa? Does it make difference ba?" I flipped my hair.

He sighed. "Hija, you should always attend your general check-up. Para malaman natin kung may iibahin ba tayo sa mga gamot mo."

"Oh, yes! Medicine, I forgot to take it regurally. Kapag naalala ko doon lang ako nag-take." Nagpaawa effect pa ako but he just sighed.

But really, I'm very forgetful. So maybe twice a week lang ako umiinom. He doesn't need to know that.

Umiiling-iling siya. "Okay, How are you? Where are your family by the way? Four months ago you were with your mom, right?"

I laughed sarcastically. "Oh, my family? Probably sipping tea with the angels above there? Who knows?"

He looked shocked. Like, He remember something. Yeah, Huh?

"Oh, I'm sorry. Let's proceed to your check-up." He got his ballpen on his chest pocket. He opened his notebook and started writing on it.

"How do you feel these past few months?" He asked.

I think deeply. I rested my arm in the table and my chin on my palm. Nagiisip kung ano nga bang nararamdaman ko. Parang wala naman, wala akong maramdaman. I'm numb but he doesn't need to know that.

"Hmm, Nothing new." I laughed. "Same old, same old. Oldie."

"Do you feel exhausted often?" He asked, again. This old man! Ang kulit.

"Yeah, Sometimes. But not really often."I flicker my finger and winked at him.

"Lilac, This is a serious matter." He said like stating a fact.

"Oh, it is? You know old man, I don't really mind if I die today or tomorrow. So I don't really care about my medication."

He sighed, looking stress because of me. "Ayaw mo na bang mag undergo ng operation ulit?"

"For the second time?" I asked, He nodded. "How many percent would it be successful?" I arched my brows.

"Thirty percent over one hundred." He said.
