Thirtieth Step

"Hey, Dalia." My smile grew bigger as I heard her screamed on the other line.

"Bestie!" She screamed, literally a scream because I had to pull my phone away from my ears.

"Dalia! I miss you!"

"No, I miss you more!"

"Yeah, sure." Tumawa ako dahil ayaw niyang mag patalo. "So, I called..."

"Oo nga because?"

"I have news for you! I'm really excited about this. I haven't tell you even though it's been one month. Alam mo na, we're preparing and it's kinda secret."

"Wow, infairness ang dami mong sinabi. Ano ba 'tong secret na 'to? Dapat ba malaman ko?" She curiously asked.

"Oh well actually...I don't know if you're interested." I shrugged my shoulder kahit hindi niya nakikita.

"Sure, let's see muna. Alam mo naman me, Sis." Tumawa pa ito.

"You know my friends, right? They are having their first concert now and it's fundraising. Sa La Glance, I'm wondering if you wanna come? Free ticket! I'll libre!"

"Naks, you will libre! Pero serious ba? Nakikinig na 'ko sa mga kanta nila ever since nakwento mo sila sa 'kin!"

"So, are you g?"

"G na g! Gusto ko 'yan. Libre 'yan ha? Walang bawiaan. Aabsent ako sa work ko for that. When ba?"

I informed her the date and tell her all the details about the event, she said she'll come.

It's a one month preparation. Kahit na isang buwan 'yon feeling ko ay hindi parin sapat but everything's good for now. Sana wala nalang maging issue when the day comes.

The day after ay in-announced na rin ang concert nila. Two weeks and three days nalang ang pagitan.

The fans are also shock about the sudden concert. May nag rereklamo dahil biglaan daw but in the end, they sold out the tickets. Yeah, fans.

"Shit! Sold out!" Enjie was shock while reading their manager text message.

I smirked at him showing him my hands. Nakipagpustahan kasi sa akin kung ma s-sold out daw ba o hindi 'yung mga ticket nila.

"Five thousand easy peasy lemon squeezy," I wiggled my brows at him.

Inismiran niya ako bago kuhanin ang wallet sa bulsa to give me the cash. Agad kong inabot iyon ay nilagay sa bulsa ko. I blew him a kiss before walking away. He showed me his middle finger and I did the same while laughing.

I asked them their setlist because many fans were asking me about it as if naman I will tell them. It must be a secret. But I was also curious that I also want to know.

CLIO album is included in the setlist, as expected. And also they're going to play their old songs, the one they made when they are starting pa. What shocking is that they asked if they can play the song I and Flyn wrote, of course, I agreed.

And guess what? They also released it last last week, it was launched unknown by the fans. They shoot the music video while practicing for the upcoming concert. Imagine the multi-tasking.

Their schedule is really hectic but they are having fun. I've witnessed them going home deadass tired.

Wala e, kahit gaano pa nakakapagod mahal nila ang ginagawa nila.

The night before the concert, we shared a bottle of beer on the garden. Our usual spot in the house, where we usually shared random things, talked about nonsense to it-kinda-made-sense talk session.
