Damon's P.O.V.

"Damon, is that...", Ash said softly as we all ate breakfast at a cafe. I turned around, seeing a small girl at the bar. Tony's girl. I got up and went over, sitting a few seats down as she talked to the restaurant manager.

"Sweetie, how old are you?", he asked.

"Eighteen." He raised his eyebrows,

"Eighteen with no I.D.? I'm not buying that bullshit. Don't lie to me."

"F-Fifteen."

"Look kid, my daughter is your age and if she was out on the streets, I'd want someone to tell her to go home."

"I don't have a home." He sighed and went to the back, bringing her a plate of food,

"Eat and then call your parents."

"I don't have any money."

"I don't remember asking if you had money kid." He left as I moved over,

"What the fuck are you doing Opal?" She glanced at me,

"Call my dad and I'll kill you."

"I'll take that risk. Pretty sure I can handle your five foot, a hundred pounds ass." I sighed, "What happened?"

"I told him and mom that if they fought again, I was leaving. They did. I left."

"I'm sorry. But running away doesn't solve the problem."

"It does for me."

"Well not for me." We both turned as Tony walled in in uniform, "Why would you run away to our restaurant babe? Really a dumb move.", he said sitting next to her as the manager brought him a coffee,

"Sorry kiddo. Can't let my favorite customers fight.", he said softly.

"I didn't think you'd remember who I was."

"Of course I did. You practically live here." He leaned across the bar, "I'd happily give you a job here in a heartbeat. But not because you're homeless. And only with your dads permission." Tony shrugged,

"I don't mind. But we need to discuss what you did today first." The manager left as Opal looked up at Tony, her green eyes big,

"I'm sorry daddy."

"Nuh-uh. You can't just look at me lile that and expect me to let it go. You're in big trouble when I get home from work." He hugged her tightly, "But I'm so happy you're safe. I was so worried."

"I really am sorry."

"I know baby." My phone rang. Luke.

"Yeah?"

"We've got a new kid."

Luke's P.O.V.

"So, Vic?", I said softly. He nodded,

"If-If that's okay-"

"Hey, whatever you're comfortable with.", I said softly to the boy who his social worker introduced as 'Vicki'.

"Thank you."

"You don't have to thank me for respecting you."

"I feel like I do when it's so rare."

I went upstairs to wake up the kids, knocking on Vic's cracked door as it opened. He gasped, covering his half duct taped chest with a blanket.

"Woah, hey, take that off." He backed away from me,

"I-I-I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize. I'm not upset but you can't do that." He nodded a little, sniffling as he pulled it off and threw on a hoodie. He sat on the bed,
