Jisoo was more than glad that the class had finally ended.

He truly didn't want to deal with the teacher's glares piercing through him as he continued to talk about rules and many other things he had paid no attention to. It was something he had to work with, but that could be fix on other days. Now, Jisoo packed his things as fast as he could and made his way to the cafeteria, remembering Chan's invitation to sit with him at lunch, glad he wouldn’t have to spend it all by himself.

With bottled up excitement, he went past the doors and stared in awe. The school was big by itself, with 5 floors meant for the students to wander in and get lost. But the cafeteria was different. It wasn't gigantic, but it wasn't small either. With big windows to the sides, the cafeteria was filled with light, or at least would be if the clouds outside weren't in the way. He smiled. The feeling was really different from back then.

"Jisoo hyung! I'm glad you were able to make it!" Chan talked in glee. "I thought you would get lost in the hallways and possibly skip lunch, but I was sure you were smarter than that"

Jisoo chuckled. The younger seemed to be in a good mood and he didn't want to break it with his tales of unluckiness.

"A friend of mine will join us in a bit, so in the meantime let's go get something to eat, ok?"

With a nod, he followed Chan to the line and was about to calmly stand still and wait for his turn when he was rudely pushed to the side.

   "Move it kid"

Jisoo turned around. He was surely not expecting this.

"Mingyu, you do know he's older right..?" Soonyoung sighed.

   "Let me rephrase that then!"

He was about to speak when Jeonghan just walked in front of them in annoyance. At this, he couldn't he but stare, confusion and wrath rising in him. He really hated it when people looked down on him.

Although Jisoo really didn't want to bring attention to himself, memories started to flash right before his eyes. And before he knew it, he had walked up to Mingyu and tapped his shoulder

Confused, the younger turned around and was met with a bashful face. "E...excuse me, Mingyu was it?" He said as disarming as he could. "I'm sure you didn't notice but I was standing right here with my friend Chan until I was rudely pushed to the side"

At this, Mingyu looked at him up and down with a frown, noticing a worried Chan behind him. Sure, Jeonghan and his gang were nothing but trouble to the school and its students, but a part of him was scared that this event would turn into nothing but a fight.

Jisoo took a deep breath. "I kindly ask you to please let me and my friend get our spots back so we can get our lunches and go. It's as easy as it gets"

Chan held Jisoo's shoulder. "H-hyung it's fine we can just go to the other line" But the older didn't respond. Instead, he straightened his posture and stared right back. Being the cause for starting it, Jisoo had to make sure to end it.

Mingyu grinned. “What if I don’t want to?”

He sighed. "I guess I'll just have to get it myself"

At this, the other mockingly chuckled. "Really now? What are you going to d-"

Suddenly, Mingyu's sentence was cut off by a loud smack.
