Chapter 12

   Jisoo stopped whatever he was doing. He didn't know if he needed to be sad, mad or shocked about the sudden turn of events. However, one thing was certain. He didn't want any of this.

   Jeonghan on the other hand was rather happy things were going this smoothly even if he didn't plan them. He could now know more about Jisoo without having to become close friends. Besides, he knew Seokmin and Jihoon would ask the other questions without really knowing Jeonghan's plan. So,once again, he opened the door while apologizing to Jihoon for he had shut the door on the others' face.

   "Jisoo! You're here early!" Seokmin greeted with one of the sunshine smiles he always gives.

   "Sorry, I got rather excited" Jisoo said looking down. He felt the stare he was getting from Jeonghan and he certainly didn't want to have eye contact with him.

   "No it's fine, at least we have someone who actually does care about the meeting" Jihoon said while side eyeing Jeonghan as to which the other only rolled his eyes.

   "Well now that we're in the topic, let me introduce ourselves. Again."

   "This is Seokmin. He's the lead singer in the band. He plays the electric guitar" Jihoon said while signaling to Seokmin to present himself.

   "It's a pleasure to meet you!" He smiled. Jisoo knew he'd get along well with him.

   "This is Jeonghan. He plays the bass guitar and sings" Jeonghan only made a peace sign.

   "And I'm Jihoon. I play the drums but can also play a variety of other instruments. I'm happy to have you here" He said with a finishing smile.

   "Well, my name is Jisoo and I can play the guitar. I'm still trying to improve on my singing for it isn't very good an-"

   "Nonsense, I heard you sing" Jeonghan cut in, making Jisoo blush in embarrassment at his remark. He figured the other was listening to him sing which only made him more embarrassed than he already was. "You have a really nice voice..." Jeonghan mumbled the last part once he saw Jisoo's reaction. It's true, Jeonghan wanted to tear the other apart, but, he did recognize talent when he saw it.

   "That's great! That way, we can all take in different parts of the song Jihoon is working on"

   "You compose songs!?" Jisoo said looking at Jihoon with his eyes sparkling. The other was surprised at the olders' amazement and shied away.

   "Yeah..Well, I wanted to start working on a song. You see, even though school has just started, in a couple of months there will be a talent show during spring. It seems like a long time to prepare, but I just want to be sure the song is perfect"

   Jisoo smiled at him. "If you want, we can help you come up with the lyrics for the song" He suggested.

   "Good idea. It'll give us more time to practice with the melody and instruments"

   "Should we do this in pairs? I feel like it'll let us get a wider range of options" Seokmin said.

   "Sure" Jihoon said and proceeded to open his backpack and take out a journal. He tore a paper into tiny pieces and wrote the names of the members in them. He then crumbled the tiny pieces and placed them in his hand forming a hollowed out fist and shaked them.

   "Ok everyone take one and don't open them yet" All of them did what he said.

   "Ready? 3,2,1" Jisoo opened his little paper piece and silently cursed. He looked at Jeonghan and the latter did the same.

   "I guess you're my partner" Jeonghan said.
