Jeonghan walked in the hallways lazily with a guitar case hanging from his shoulder. He didn't feel excited to meet the new band member nor did he have the energy to socialize. After the talk he had last night with Wonwoo, a headache was now tormenting him.
Supposedly, Jisoo was a totally normal student who had never done anything wrong for Wonwoo to uncover. But Jeonghan, on the other hand, thought otherwise. There had to be something, anything they could use. However, staring at Jisoo from afar was getting him nothing at all, and he feared the only other way of seeing his downfall was to befriend the enemy.
Just the mere thought of being overly friendly with Jisoo made him sick.
With a groan, Jeonghan turned around the corner and walked to the classroom. But before he could open the door, a soft, harmonious voice escaped the thin walls that separated them. And soon enough, he fell into a trance, loving the sound of those honey like vocals that melted him.
"Jeonghan!"
A sudden voice called out, snapping him out of the reverie.
"Hello to you too, Woozi, Seokmin." He greeted.
At the sight of him, Seokmin gave a sigh of relief, then chuckled. "I thought you would never show up"
"The thought did cross my head" The older said with a cheeky grin. "But I feared a certain someone would would get mad if I didn't assist"
"Glad to know you took the right decision" Seokmin whined. "He nagged at me all day when he found out you didn't show up for the club gatherings!"
"Enough" Woozi cut in. "He's already waiting for us inside, let's not leave the guy hanging"
With a groan, Jeonghan opened the door and looked up. However, after a few seconds he slammed it close. Were his eyes deceiving him?
"Fuck"
Joshua was inside the classroom, with widened eyes as he stared right back at him.
[...]Having had arrived early, Jisoo made himself comfortable in a corner of the room and softly placed his guitar case right next to him. Excited, he took the instrument out and pressed the corner of his finger across the smooth surface, glad he could be able to play.
Once he had made sure everything was set, Joshua played a melody and hummed, slowly getting lost in the strings until the first few words of a song escaped his lips.
"Sunday morning, rain is falling
Steal some covers, share some skin
Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable
You twist to fit the mold that I am inBut things just get so crazy, living life gets hard to do
And I would gladly hit the road, get up and go if I knew-"His sentence was cut off by the loud opening of the door. Startled, he looked up, widened his eyes, and watched it get closed rapidly. The sight he had witnessed was enough to make his heart beat faster than a drum.
Jeonghan was outside the door with a shocked expression as he stared right back at him.
