"Joshua....?"
Jisoo felt the air in his lungs cease to exist. He held onto his chest and gasped for air. His vision became blurry and his hands started to sweat. A tingling feeling reached his ears and caused all sound to mute.
Suddenly, he felt a lump appear on his throat. With a swift motion, he turned around and started to run. Jisoo heard the other boy curse and yell his name in an attempt to catch up but soon the sounds of footsteps behind him slowly faded away. He hit someone's shoulder while running but was too busy trying to hold in the substance to notice.
Jisoo headed to the bathroom and slammed the stall open. He closed the door as fast as he could and let a white substance out. He hated the feeling of small bits of food scraping his throat and the tears falling from his eyes.
"Jisoo, are you ok?" He heard a familiar voice ask.
Jeonghan sighed after receiving no response. He had skipped lunch just to annoy his friends for they kept on bothering him. Ever since Jisoo and him had gone to the cafe and had been chatting around during club hours they wouldn't stop asking him questions about it. Jeonghan loved the guys but sometimes he couldn't deal with them.
While walking on the hallway aimlessly he saw someone running in his direction but didn't really pay any attention. The guy had his hands on his mouth and was looking down so why should Jeonghan care about him? He thought that, yet, when the guy passed by and hit his shoulder his eyes went wide and ran after him. Jisoo seemed to be in a hurry and by the looks of it he was crying. Jeonghan didn't know why, just like he don't know why he was running after him. But one thing was for sure, Jeonghan wanted to help.
He heard the gaging eventually stop, however, it was soon followed by some hyperventilating.
"Jisoo open the door!"
If Jeonghan didn't know better he wouldn't have been able to tell the other was going trough a panic attack, and Jeonghan himself was starting to panic too. Jeonghan started to hit the door as fast as he could until he slammed it opened with a kick. He walked inside the stall and immediately hugged Jisoo who sat on the ground. He was gasping for air and looked so little trapped in four walls. Jeonghan closed the door in case anyone walked in.
"Jisoo look at me" He held Jisoo's hands. "Try to follow my breathing pattern ok?" Jeonghan started to do some breathing exercises with Jisoo trying to follow along. He didn't know if said method would work but he thought it would help for a bit. After a few seconds Jisoo started to follow along but would occasionally get distracted. Once he had calmed down for a bit Jisoo felt tears start to fall from his eyes. Jeonghan didn't know what to do. He had never comforted anyone before but it was too late to back up now. Jeonghan pulled Jisoo to him and placed Jisoo's head on his chest. He carresed his hair.
"Shhh, I'm here for you, don't worry." He held him tighter. "I won't leave you" And with that Jisoo bursted into tears. Jeonghan felt his shirt getting soaked but couldn't care less. Right now, all he could think about was having Jisoo in his arms.
After Jisoo stopped crying, Jeonghan finally talked.
"I guess lunch has ended by now huh?"
Jisoo chuckled. "Yeah...The classes have also started too..."
"You know what?"
Jeonghan looked at Jisoo.
"Let's skip"
