2 months later
"No please!"
"Oh shut it!" He kicked him again.
"I didn't mean to tell them! Please stop! It, it hurts!"
"It's the least I can do" He smiled. "After all, because of you my mother has been really disappointed with me lately"
"Stop...." The boy said as he slowly fell out of consciousness. His arms and legs were filled with purple marks that would probably hurt later on the days.
Joshua smiled and turned around. "Yuki, how did I do?!"
"You did great, darling" He hugged him from behind. "I can't believe you've changed this much from when we first met" Yuki smiled. "It's fun, isn't it?"
"It is" Jisoo shyly smiled, however his smile slowly faded away slowly being replaced by one of worry. "But, I can't help but feel bad afterwards.."
Yuki let go with annoyance. "Josh, he deserved it, remember?" Yuki waved his hand around. "Who in their right mind thinks it's a good idea to tell the teacher we skipped a couple of classes?"
"Yeah but-"
"But nothing" Yuki held Joshua's chin forcing the other to look directly at him. "You're better like this Joshua, and I don't want you to back out now that you've changed this much, understood?"
"Yes" He said almost as a whisper.
"Good" He let go. "Why don't we go eat something with the others? My treat" Yuki smiled and handed his hand out for Joshua to take.
He hesitated but took it and held it tightly either way. "Okey"
Joshua followed Yuki to a nearby restaurant with a smile plastered all over his face. He had changed, and that made him feel a sense of accomplishment. Fighting with gangs in the weekends, hanging out with Yuki and his friends during class times and having a sky rocketing popularity level made him feel alive, free. For him, everything was colored in pink.
However, a side of him wanted to hold back. To be the Joshua he used to be. A kind and event human being who would never hurt anyone else just for fun. But the idea of being able to let all of his stress disappear in the form of a few fights that showed through bruises made him feel better than ever. To have a sense of superiority made him feel powerful. And all of the attention he was getting made him long for more. Made him feel loved and wanted.
"Darling, what would you like to drink?"
Especially from him.
"Whatever you're having is fine" Yuki smiled and continued to order.
Joshua stared at the other's back. (Yuki..) He thought. The other was his prince charming that had came to save him during his hardest times. The other was the person he had slowly fallen in love with and learned to love. Although, at first, Joshua didn't agree with some of the things that he did and forced him to do, now, he couldn't help but think that the other was right when he had told him to change. Because if it wasn't for him, Joshua wouldn't be able to live like this. And Joshua couldn't deny Yuki. No, he couldn't deny him.
But something about the other felt odd. He would give him his love and affection almost daily, at every second of the day, but that wasn't enough for Joshua to feel satisfied. Everything he did felt fake to him. Because those kisses they would share and those hugs that Joshua loved seemed to not be enough for Yuki. And that scared him.
Yuki was the prince charming that had came to save him during his hardest times. The other was the person he had slowly fallen in love with and learned to love. But now, he couldn't help but feel scared to even try to think about what went through the latter's mind. But Joshua didn't want to think too much about it.
(Everything will be fine..) He told himself. (Everything will be ok.....
.....right?)
