Chapter 29

   "What?"

   Joshua stared at Jeonghan with a look of disbelief.

   "Can I..sit with you and your friends?" Jeonghan couldn't face the younger. He could not believe he was asking this question to the other but he didn't want to be alone during lunch.

   "Of..course!" Chan said from the side. Him and the others had been listening to the conversation for Jeonghan was literally standing in front of them all. Joshua smiled warmly and hummed in agreement.

   "We should introduce ourselves!" Seungkwan squealed. Joshua nodded and motioned for Chan to start.

   "Hi! My name is Lee Chan but you can call me Dino!" He gave the older a bright smile. Jeonghan stared at the kid and felt fondness towards the younger.

   "Aight. From now on you'll be my son" Chan stared at Jeonghan with a confused expression but the other just ignored it.

   "Hello! My name is Seungkwan and it's a pleasure to meet you" Jeonghan stared at him with a dead fish eye expression. (Isn't he the boy who insisted on following us the other day?)

   "Yo" Another boy spoke up and made a peace sing. "I'm Vernon" Jeonghan's expression turned serious. (That's the boy who was with Jisoo at the cafe..) He thought. Jeonghan wanted to know what the other had to do with Jisoo's past but a part of him knew he couldn't go back on his word as curious as he may be. However, a honey like voice caught him off guard.

   "And I'm Joshua" He smiled. "I'm happy to have you here, Jeonghan"

   Jeonghan couldn't help but blush at the sight before him. He hated to feel this way but what could he do? He loves that smile.

   Jeonghan scratched the back of his neck in a bashful manner. "I'm Jeonghan" He looked up. "Nice to meet you all" Jeonghan sat down and Joshua handed him a bento box. The other three stared at the scene. Seungkwan coughed loudly.

   "What?" Joshua hissed.

   "Since when do you make lunch for him?"

   "Since last week" Joshua said casually. "Why?"

   "Why don't you make food for us!?" Vernon hummed in agreement to Chan's comment.

   "Because y'all never asked" Joshua said. He took out two juice bottles form his lunch bag and handed one to Jeonghan.

   Seungkwan groaned. "How lucky" He said with a sigh. "Hyung's food has a really nice taste! Why can't we also have some?!" Chan and Vernon agreed.

   Joshua's eye twitched and Jeonghan laughed at that. "Fine!" He placed his chopsticks down. "But I won't bring it to school!"

   Chan whined. "But why!" He leaned on the table.

   "Because I don't have three other lunch boxes for you guys"

   An idea crossed Seungkwan's head. He motioned for Vernon and Chan to come closer and the other three did as told. A bunch of mumbles filled the atmosphere.

   "What are they talking about?" Jeonghan said while eating.

   Joshua sighed. "No idea"

   "Ok we'll go!" Chan said once they had finished their small meeting.

   "Go where?"

   "To your house silly!" Seungkwan popped out of the huddle.

   "What?! Why?!"

   "Because! It'll be more fun!"

   "And we can have a study session" Vernon added.

   Seungkwan groaned. "Yeah, that too"

   "Fine" Joshua said with a sigh. "But don't make a ruckus ok?" The three boys nodded enthusiastically. Joshua turned to look at Jeonghan.

   "Do you..want to come over?"

   Jeonghan stared back at him. "S-sure" He stuttered.

   Joshua smiled. "Then it's settled!" Seungkwan said loudly. "Let's go to Jisoo's house!"
