Chapter 13

   Jisoo didn't want to involve himself more with Jeonghan than he had to. But now, he had to literally work with him and that meant he had to spend time with the latter. Don't get Jisoo wrong, he didn't hate Jeonghan, he only disliked the other because his little gang was getting on Jisoo's guts, and he believed Jeonghan had something to do with that.

   Jisoo sighed, Jeonghan was following him around in the hallways. Finally, however, he decided to approach him. With a swift motion, he turned around and caught the other off guard.

   "What?"

   Jeonghan regained his balanced. "Aren't we going to discuss the lyrics?"

   "Yeah but not right now, it's already late and I have to attend work"

   "Oh? You work? Aren't high school students not allowed to do that?"

   "Look, don't try to make yourself look like a saint here. I know you break rules almost every day. Everyone does" Jisoo spat.

   "A feisty one aren't you?" He smirked at the other.

   Jisoo rolled his eyes. "Let's talk more about it later ok? Are you free tomorrow afternoon?"

   "Yeah"

   "Then it's settled, let's meet up at Adore You Cafe after school. Wait for me at the gate and I'll try to be there as quickly as I can"

   "Can't wait~"

  

   "You look dead" Wonwoo commented after looking at Jisoo laying in the counter with his head resting in between his arms. Jisoo looked up at him.

   "In a hypothetical way, I am"

   "Let me guess, Jeonghan?"

   "Yeah, turns out that he was the bass guitarist of the band I joined. Then, me and my big mouth thought it would be a good idea to help come up with the lyrics of the song the leader of the band was working on. And then Seokmin, a member of the band, suggested we work in partners. And, guess who I got?"

   "Jeonghan" Wonwoo said seeping on a juice box he had.

   "In times like this I find out luck is really on my side"

   "Don't stress out about it"

   "Easy for you to say. You don't have to deal with him all day drilling holes into you for an unknown reason plus the pushing around his friends do"

   "Anyways, I'll go to unpack the soda cans."

   Jisoo said, and went to the back. Wonwoo felt guilty. He had only been trying to get closer to Jisoo just to give Jeonghan his information. But, in a way, Wonwoo himself was very curious about the other. He noticed how the older always held himself back every time he talked about his time in LA and the way he stared at the disrespectful customers who he stumbled upon from time to time was scary. Wonwoo really wished Jeonghan could at least get something out of the latter for his curiosity was killing him. 

   "Who are you Hong Jisoo?" He mumbled.
