Chapter 5

   Everyone froze. The whole cafeteria was dead silent and stared at the commotion.

   Mingyu was on the floor with a red hand mark on his face. Chan stared at Jisoo in shock,while Jeonghan, Soonyoung and Jun wore the same expression.

   "What the..." Jun said, still in disbelief. Jisoo grabbed Chan's hand and walked by them as quickly as he could. His body went ahead and acted without his consent and he couldn’t help but panic.

   "WAIT THERE YOU LITTLE-"

   "That's enough" Jeonghan stopped the ragging Mingyu from standing up and beating the crap out of Jisoo. "Let's skip lunch and get that bruise treated"

   As Soonyoung helped Mingyu get up with a huff he hissed at the staring and whispering students in the cafeteria. Everyone started to disperse at Mingyu's command, as the group exited the cafeteria with annoyed expressions.

   Jisoo and Chan on the other hand got out of the line with trays filled with food and sat down on the table they first arrived at. After a few seconds, Chan broke the silence.

   "HYUNG THAT WAS AMAZING!"

   With widened eyes, Jisoo just stared in surprise as Chan mentioned everything he just did with amazement in his voice. He didn't expect him to think his actions were to be considered cool but was surely relieved the younger boy hadn't thought he was another student looking for trouble and perhaps not hang out with him anymore.

   "Chan!"

   The one called turned around and waved at a boy who was running over to them. Soon enough, he was sitting right next to the burnett causing Jisoo to get startled by the other's bright blue hair and bubbly personality when talking to Chan. However, his staring was soon caught.

   "Oh! Sorry for not noticing you, I'm Seungkwan, Chan's friend. He talked to me about you during class"

   The other slightly bowed. “Nice to meet you, I'm Jisoo"

   "Wait...weren't you the one that made Mingyu fall to the ground?"

   "Y-yes"

   At his response, the other widened his eyes and placed his hand over his chest. "Dude that was really cool! You have my respects"

   "Glad to know, I think"

   "Really tho, I was surprised you were able to do that, to Mingyu even. He's the one in their little group that takes more people down on every fight they pull with other students. Apart from that, he's really smart so he's not only the muscle of the group but also part of the brains"

   Chan arched an eyebrow and huffed. “You really do know a lot about them huh?"

   "Chan sweety, they are just too cool and unbelievably handsome for their own good. I wouldn't mind getting myself one of them as a lover if I do say so myself "

   "You say that yet here you are not even wanting to approach them” He said with a sigh. But soon enough, his smile turned cheeky and wide. “Besides, don't you already have Hansol at your mercy?"

   "We aren't even dating yet, so I don't know what you're talking about," Seungkwan said with a slight blush on his cheeks. 

   "Talking about Hansol,” Chan took a bite out of his lunch. “I didn't see him during class, do you know anything about him?"

   "Yeah, he texted me in the morning saying he was still sick and won't be able to attend for the rest of the week," Seungkwan said. However, he couldn't help but notice Jisoo's confused expression. "Hansol is another one of our friends who we hang out with, he's from America, so don't be startled if he looks foreign”

   At the mention of this, Jisoo’s eyes twinkled. “Really! That's great news for me too then. You see, I am also from America, LA to be exact"

   "Wow that's so cool! My English will now be better than ever"

   "Seungkwan your English sucks, It'll be a miracle if Hansol and Jisoo hyung help you get better at it"

   "How dare you! My English is high quality!"

   “As if!”

   As the older heard them bicker, he couldn’t help but smile.

   After all that ruckus, Jisoo was glad the day had reached a point of peace for him.
