Jisoo sighed in relief.
The day had finally ended, and he was done with the idea of trying to have a simple life. He was indeed happy that he had found some friends on his first day of school, but found himself to be disappointed for smacking the crap out of a delinquent and having to talk to his homeroom teacher about his behavior in the morning.Jisoo sighed once again. If the first day was already a mess at this school, he worried about how the other days would be like.
As he thought about various things, Jisoo walked down the street to a convenience store and entered through the back. And as he walked through, Jisoo was instantly met with a question:
"How was your first day of high school in Korea?"
He groaned. "Don't even get me started"
"Really? Mine was actually rather peaceful" The other said as he reopened his book.
Because of this, Jisoo arched an eyebrow and huffed "Wonwoo, it's your turn to be at the register today"
"Don't worry, I'll get there once I finish reading this page"
As a response, Jisoo just rolled his eyes playfully and made his way to the back of the store. He had started working at a convenience store near his house during summer. There he met a guy named Wonwoo who was around his age and awfully mature. However, after some time Jisoo could tell the both of them had become closer as friends and he couldn’t help but smile at the thought. That is, until the door to the establishment opened.
Ding Dong.
"Welcome" Wonwoo greeted the man with the best smile and voice he could give, making Jisoo chuckle in the background. And after making fun of his friend, he picked up a box and made his way to the chip aisle where he started to place the chips in the place they belonged in.
"Shit, they are out of them huh?"
Confused by the sudden voice beside him, Jisoo turned to his side and almost screamed in his place. As a result, he turned around with an incredible force that he thought he had actually broken his neck.
"Hey, do you have any more?"
He didn't respond.
The other groaned. "Don't ignore me, I'm asking if you have any more of the lemon flavored chips"
With a cough, he lowered the tone of his voice. "Sorry Sir. I wasn't paying any attention, I'll make sure to go check in the back"
And with that, Jisoo headed to the back without having to look at the other's eyes.

(What a strange guy...) Jeonghan thought while he stood there. He had nothing to do back at home and wasn't looking forward to being alone in his house either. And although he had been invited to go and play some video games at Soonyoung's home, he didn't want to watch them kill zombies for 5 hours straight. As a result, he decided to go to a nearby convenience store and buy himself some snacks for a small movie marathon. And as he thought about what to watch when he got home, the employee came back with a box filled with his favorite snack and he silently thanked him for doing his job.
Jisoo on the other hand was cursing the deities that made this event become possible. He placed all the chips into their designated places in a rushed manner and quickly stood up once he had finished doing so.
"There we go, I hope you have a good day" Jisoo said as he pulled his hat down a bit and slightly bowed.
With that, Jeonghan only nodded and grabbed the chips with a few other snacks and headed to the counter. Once Jisoo saw that he had walked out of there, he sighed loudly.
"What?" He hissed when Wonwoo stared him down in confusion.
He sighed. "Ok let me guess, was he one of the people that made your day a hectic mess?"
Jisoo groaned and pulled his hoodie down.
"Please don't even get me started"
