"He did what?!" Jae asked as he ate the burger in front of him.
Jackson held a hand to his chest. "My respects"
"I can't believe it tho!" Younghyun said with a chuckle. "It's been a while since someone last dared to throw a punch at you and get away with it"
"It really has" Yuki said bitterly and leaned down to stop the blood from continuing to slide, letting out a wicked chuckle as he did so. "And it's so fucking annoying when it happens"
Jae sighed. "You're planning something aren't you?"
Younghyun groaned. "Didn't we talk about this last time?"
"Talked about what?"
"To not get revenge on people who clearly want to stay away from you?"
Yuki sighed. "We never had such conversation Brian"
"Then we probably should" He crossed his arms in irritation. "Every time someone defends themselves from your manipulative ways and words that mock them, you always plan on revenge. Can't you understand that they really, really, REALLY don't want anything to do with you anymore?"
"He kicked my nose Younghyun" Yuki narrowed his eyes. "What do you want me to do?!"
"Probably forget about it Yuki" Jackson said with a sigh. "Seriously, when you do things like these it always ends up worst than how it was meant to be"
"Don't be a killjoy~" He chuckled. "I won't be that harsh! Will only tach him a small lesson~, that's all"
"Your 'that's all' is rather unconvincing" Jae waved his hand and sighed. "But if you are still going on with the plan..make sure to not involve me in it"
"Me neither" Younghyun added in. "I don't want to get in trouble like last time"
Yuki turned to Jackson, a ray of hope lighting his way. "What about you?"
Jackson looked away. "I..I need to go take a dump"
"Fine then!" Yuki stood up. "Don't come back to me begging to let you people join in on the fun~"
"Don't worry~ I'll make sure not to~" Jae said and Younghyun chuckled.
Yuki groaned. "Ugh, see y'all losers later" And walked away.
Jackson turned to the other two. "Did he just call me a loser?"
Younghyun face palmed dramatically. "The audacity!"
Yuki stared at the people walk by in front of him. His wandering eyes expecting every single detail about them, searching for a single pink haired male in the crowds.
However, once he had spotted him, Yuki couldn't help but smile. The moment he had set eyes on Joshua, Yuki couldn't help but feel his heart skip a beat. He wanted, no, needed to have Joshua. Needed to sleep with him. However, how would his reputation be if he were to date someone as unpopular as him? Someone who's reserved, introverted and shy? Of course, Yuki had to do something about it. And it's not like he was doing something bad, for in his eyes, Joshua was way better like this. To him, Joshua was perfect.
But of course, the other had to think otherwise, causing their well set romance to come to an end. Yuki sighed. He'd have to teach the other a lesson before getting back together. And giving him a little jump scare would help ease the situation, right?
Yuki watched the other step into the road, carrying countless of bags stuffed with groceries on the inside. He waited until the other was in the middle and stepped on the pedal. Unable to control the wheel, he soon felt an unease creep inside him. And before he knew it, there laid the body of a woman on the floor, blood splattered all around her. And he was the cause of it.
When Joshua turned around to look at him, Yuki felt himself flinch. He watched the other walk to the car and knock on the window right next to him.
"Open the door" He said.
"I-I didn't mean for this to happen, it was an accident!"
Joshua sighed and slammed the window. "Did you not hear me? Open the door!"
Soon, the sound of an ambulance and a police car took Joshua's attention away. He watched two police man approach him and ask for his collaboration; to get out of the car. At this, Joshua walked over to the paramedics and followed them to the ambulance. But before getting in, he watched Joshua turn around and mutter a word to him.
"Rot"
"Are you finished with packing?" His uncle said as he entered the room.
"Yup!"
He smiled. "You know we'll miss you right?"
Joshua gave him a hug. "I'll miss you too" He let go. "But I feel like this will be the best for me" Joshua gave a sad smile. "After countless of therapy sessions, I feel like I've changed once again, and this time, for the better"
"I see" He said. "But you know, even tho your mom isn't here anymore, we'll be here if you need anything. Your aunt and I will be taking care of you from now on, so don't feel embarrassed to tell us about your needs, ok?"
Joshua smiled warmly. "Ok"
"Then grab your things and get your butt in the car! We need to head to the airport at this very moment!"
As Joshua ran to the alley in where Vernon was in, he couldn't help but think about all of the things he had gone through. So as he turned around the corner, Joshua could feel the heat rise up in his body as he took in the scene that unfolded before him. Vernon was cornered into a wall and blood spewed out of his nose as Mingyu smiled over to him.
Why did he have to go trough things like this? Why did he have to endure it? Why did he have to suffer? The more he thought about it, the more be couldn't understand the law of life. And all of this tired him out endlessly, causing Joshua to be done. Done with the people who caused him to feel sad and angry. Done with everything around him. And now that his chains were fully snapped in half, Joshua wanted to show that be isn't how he used to be. That's he is himself, and how he has changed for the better.
